    Interesting article in Kotaku

Guys read the article. Its not what it seems from the first paragraph, though. There is no vitriol of Fallout 4, but rather analysis of how some people, especially those that dwell here responded to Fallout 4.

    91 hours in, my review.

I for one am in love with the first two mass effect games. Third one is the utter worst thing I have seen in gaming hands down. Id rather play Fallout 3 than Mass Effect 3. Also its just a badly written story...

You don't want to open that Pandoras Box. In a nutshell it does a lot of things Fallout 4 done but worse, such as; retcons everywhere, stupid character characterization, dub nonsensical plot, things happen because plot demands, lame dialogue. I will give that there are 5-6 well done scenes...

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

Yes they are allowed to have fun. I don't think Kid in a fridge is a fun quest, the prospect of being stuck in small confined space is horrifying, especially for 200 years. While lets say a quest like finding prostitutes for a casino in Freeside, or perfomers for a casino on the strip. Utterly...

    91 hours in, my review.

I know that we are all fed up with Bethesda, but common... this review is too much. Plagued by hatred and bias, just as Bethesda games are plagued by bugs and unfinished ideas. There are a lot of games which get a pass on those. The most horrible RPG of the century, so far, has been Mass...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Uh I dread the moment I find Cabot House... Mothership Zeta was fine, but it was a 50s thing... now ancient aliens.... that's a different beast entirely

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Its not that. Its just when something is bad, the bad parts stick out. I mean Pacific Rim has problems, but they do not detract from my enjoyment of the movie. This quest, seems so implausible. And I liked most of the quests I came across in Fallout 4. He would have died or killed himself over...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

If you are changing one aspect might as well change the other so that there is enough radiation, I mean the fridge is relatively close to the glowing sea. Just some ideas. Or have him as a normal child. I am not sure whether this is commentary or a joke or what the purpose of this quest is...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Well I meant in a sense of his muscles working properly and him being socially ok with what has happened. Shouting for help for 200 years? I guess it can be argued, but why would you even write it? You want a child trapped in a refrigerator go with children escaping from Gunners and one of them...

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Well the last one is an incredibly hard... for a child impossible. That's how they train astronauts by locking them in one room for prolonged periods of times. Its hard, and not everybody can do it, not a child, especially after the horror that he just turned into a zombie like being. Why can he...

So ghouls don't breathe or eat or go insane from isolation? Yeah...that's dumb

It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

Some points of negativity admittedly seem trivial. That said I think Bethesda doesn't really understand Fallout, or maybe the fans are stuck in their old way of thinking. I mean, a lot of cringe worthy humor in F4 especially such as the Kid in the Fridge, which I think should be funny and...

Why I do and dont appreciate Bethesda

As blasphemous as it will sound here, I think there is a certain finesse to the themes and motifs in Fallout 4 as well. Personally its arguable one the better side of Bethesda games, for me. That said, even for me, few things stood out such as the lack of humor almost from the beginning.

Why I do and dont appreciate Bethesda

Thanks, well Fallout 4 is not amazing. Its just a good game. Fun mindless. Companions have been great surprisingly.

Why I do and dont appreciate Bethesda

My first post, feels exciting up to a point. *takes a deep breath* That's my story as a fallout fan... My first Fallout, was Fallout 3. And I loved it. I thought it was an amazing game, which admittedly was marketed as a horror game to me. Needless to say I was young. A lot of Fallout 3 flaws...
