    That means the *true* concern is if someone intends to modify their game. If the patch000.dat file stays, all mods are nulled because it gets loaded after them.

    Well, you can look around for various Miria mods. Davin ones also exist, to some extent. The Fallout Database has it archived, and there is a Miria for Real! mod made for the Restoration Project.

    I have the strange sensation that the original non-function key style for the Party Order add-on isn't working, but I don't mind using the Shift key for making dude_obj pick items up where I can't reach 'em manually. That's a problem with stuff hidden under scenery objects.

    The only biggest concern is if someone has the original 1.0 version of Fallout 2, that means the master.dat, critter.dat, and patch000.dat must all be unpacked... But, the first two should be the first ones put into "data", and then the contents of patch000.dat. After that, it can be deleted.

    Heh, I guess problems like this arise from the use of UAC. I personally don't use it in addition to not installing in Program Files. Special HtH attacks are up to you, though taking the Bonus HtH Attacks perk lets you perform any such attacks at a -1 AP discount.

    You also need to have the high-res thing enabled, do so from the f2_res_Config.exe

    Is it me, or does Fallout Script Editor no longer work because it tries to use a DOS4GW that isn't supported on 64-bit machines? I use the Script Editor included in the modder's pack for Sfall, a nice replacement suitable for anything below or above 32-bit. :wink:

    Yes it is, a suggestion is definitely to unpack patch000.dat with F2Undat or DAT2, and then extract the content of that into the data folder in Fallout 2's directory. After that you can delete the patch000.dat file.

    You're supposed to only replace the ddraw.dll file, or such problems will occur. You could of course copy some contents from 3.6's ddraw.ini, but I don't think we'll see that added until the next unofficial patch or RP 2.3.4

    Resolution Mods for FO1 and 2, plus the Mapper TeamX's semi-official 1.2 patch, it should be used before the 1.3.5 patch. The NPC mod for 1.3.5 is also over here. ..The Update Mod is incompatible with the TeamX things and Fallout Fixt, I wish those could be implemented into Sduibek's...

    Modify the FADE_TIME_MODIFIER option in the resolution mod, from the f2_res.ini.

    You could try looking at the examples in the Restoration Project, inside the "Appearance" folder of Fallout 2's directory.

    Does your monitor support such a resolution, perhaps? I know I can go up to 1680x1050 on mine... but not higher, it wouldn't make sense to use a screen resolution higher than what your monitor supports! :wink:
