I'm not sure MrMattyPlays is aware there were Fallout games before FO3.

I played a game with myself recently; I went on the Metacritic page for FO4, selected "See all user reviews" and tried to see if I could manage to find a positive review!

God, MrMattyPlays makes me cringe. I wanted to listen to the whole interview, but two minutes in I just...couldn't...

To be honest, I actually can enjoy Skyrim. Not as an RPG, but as an action-adventure sandbox I can. FO4 on the other hand...god , at this point the game almost makes me vomit with rage. Dunno, maybe it's because I never really cared much for TES, while FO4 was a stain on my favorite franchise.

This sounds like a great project! I'd love to play it if it's ever finished! I can't claim to be the best writer in the world, but I'm at least decent. I don't know how much time I'd be able to put into it, though. I'd love to pitch an idea or two though!

That actually sounds like a more interesting quest design than Bethesda's Radiant™ quests. If they made it though said apple in said garbage can would probably only spawn in raider camps, in which you would have to clear out the whole camp before the apple would spawn.

Ah, good point. We probably won't get another good "official" Fallout, with fan-made games, there are huge possibilities. Knowing Bethesda, they'd probably send their lawyers after the authors. Seriously, they fucking sued a company for using "Scrolls" as the name for a game. I'm not sure, but...

I suppose every franchise has to end sometime...yet the way Fallout had to go out is just sad. It came close to dying after FO2, and honestly...maybe that would have been for the best. Sure, we wouldn't have gotten NV, but the franchise also wouldn't have been stained by FO3 and 4.

To be fair, doesn't Valve own all the rights to mods on the Steam Workshop? I think it's shit business practice, but I'm just saying that Bethesda isn't the only company to do crap like that.

Bethesda might not be as bad as Rockstar when it comes to modding, but what they're doing now seems very anti-modder, or at the very least anti-PC. But to be fair, they kinda stopped caring about PC back with Oblivion, when they started to focus on consoles. BTW, anyone else find it odd how...

I know. That wasn't really directed at anyone. From what I'm seeing no ones has really gotten mad at him. All I'm saying is that we should avoid really an all-out argument with him. It's just his opinion. Everything's alright (so far :wink: )!
