The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

I posted reasons along side this in my arguments. I am currently doing my masters in Film Studies and my dissertation is on the undeniable science that everyone interoperates and experiences things differently. It's not a last ditch effort to save an argument here, because I opened with it then...

The originals offered more options for all Skills, also if an entry into the series already fixed that I think is more than fair to hold it against it for not only dumbing down the System with the removal of skills but for ignoring an improvement by falling back on random chances again. Just...

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

The Super Mutants of D.C. aren't the same as the ones as in New California which I'm sure you know, the fact that F.E.V. exists elsewhere, possessed by an extremely powerful government company, is not something that is impossible, in fact it is more than probable. They give a perfectly fine...

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

Thank you, and this is sad to hear. Hopefully the leakers had very low charisma so that might be an explanation for it. Even if this is the case, I hope we can still convince major villains to walk away. Convincing The Master that his plan was flawed and convincing Autumn that he should just...

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

Without spoilers can you tell me if it is worse than 3? I personally believe that Fallout 3 being a bad RPG is a myth but it is far more limited than the other games for sure, so if it's better than that I won't be too disappointed, but if it's worse *shudders*

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

You mean the dialogue that is half references to things that break the entire immersion of the world because the development team had, and have since came out and acknowledged this, that there was no focus, and everyone threw in references where ever they liked. Dialogue such as "I've always...

I apologise that I can't go more in-depth here, as I can't read your example due to not wanting to be spoiled. I'll discuss this at a later date.

Or you can accept that all art is subjective, all our likes and dislikes in art are fuelled by our experiences. A song many might hate might be adored by another simply because it takes them back to a time when they were happy. Someone might like a particular scene in a film simply because it...

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

I'm not bothered that karma is gone, the system was beyond broken. In 3 you had the water beggar problem and such like that, and in NV it was even worse! Slaughter the whole of Caesar's Legion, here's some karma gain for you! But steal the sugar bombs of the people that you where just rewarded...

The making of Fallout 4 - Game Informer article

It's good to see that they seem to be heavily focusing on letting us craft the story as we go this time. I don't care that there's a voiced protagonist or anything like that, as long as they give me a morally grey story with an outstanding villain, brilliant characters and lots of choices all...

    Fallout 4 Launch Trailer

Looks excellent. It appears that we're getting multiple choices in factions and the characters all look very distinct and well voice-acted. Hopefully the story combines the heart of Fallout 3's main story with the indepth robust role-playing that we found in New Vegas. It probably won't, but I...

    Fallout 4 music preview

In the morally grey world of Fallout, a character expressing a subjective opinion on something is not something I personally find annoying, no matter how flawed said character's views are.

I'm not a big fan of Fallout 3's unbalanced karma system either, but Johnny Guitar is something else.

    Fallout 4 music preview

I feel as though the emptiness of the music was symbolic, just like in New Vegas were there was a western feel to it. The Capital Wasteland is a desolate empty place with a few spikes of hope scattered throughout, and I felt the music reflected that extremely well.

Inon Zur did do the ambient music for New Vegas, as can be seen at the 34:20 in the making of New Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scqESZbRNkU

That's unfair, Inon Zur did quite a wonderful job with both Fallout 3's and New Vegas' ambient music. If you're going to try and oust Bethesda on how to do ambient music, next time choose this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SefxmOv-88M Desert Winds is ma fave <3

    Fallout 4 music preview

This is actually a really solid article and all the music choices seem appropriate. One problem I had with the previous two games, Fallout 3 in particular, was that the only music present was from the 50s and it feels jarring when we only hear songs that where produced in the 1950s-60s even...
