    NMA: Fallout 3 review

Isn't about whether or not it's a good game? Isn't that the whole point? As far as fitting with the themes of the original, it is thematically as similar as the second game. Is it as good? Certainly not, but when you play the game, it is Fallout. I recognize that it isn't as good as the...

    NMA: Fallout 3 review

Look, I have been here since the sites inception, that I wasn't posting doesn't affect that. I loved the franchise to, but the franchise for all intent and purposes has been in the ground for moe than a decade. It was never returning in the manner that you want. This game, FO3, is flawed...

    NMA: Fallout 3 review

Because the cars weren't nuclear in the first tw games right? That makes it funny? Yes, NMA is the best Fallout site around, and yes it is somewhat populated by angry 'fanboys' so that part is correct. This is better than nothing, which was where things were going.

    NMA: Fallout 3 impressions

I know! It isn't like nuclear things were that common in the original games. God, its like when Bethesda decided the cars in the game should run on nuclear power! So stupid! Phil

It would be nice if someone made the old music a radio station. Then you could just use it when you wanted. Phil

    NMA: Fallout 3 impressions

The first game was made in a time where hardware issues significantly constrained design. Hell, Fallout wasn't even the best Isometric game to that point, but it had character (Crusader No Remorse did it better two years before). Yes, Fallout 1 and 2 are in my top 5 games ever, and Fallout 3...

    NMA: Fallout 3 impressions

Where exactly can I find a synopsis of why everyone hates Oblivion so much? I loved Daggerfall, but I think Morrowind was the peak of Bethesda's creativity. It was original, innovative, and had a great main story. Fallout 3 is a fine game, and an especially fine sequel. I would rather have...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #30

I would assume people like the game. Why would Bethesda bother paying some of these places since many probably have about 5 people who read their weird pages? Phil

Fallout 3 ads and other tidbits

They may be less addictive, but that still avoids the biggest issue with them. They just aren't that great. Buffout at least lets you carry more loot, but mentats don't really do much since the dialogue options aren't as interesting. Psycho and med-x do help in a scra though. I think...

Fallout 3 ads and other tidbits

On the drug thing someone beat me too it, but addiction wasn't that hard to deal with in Fallout really. Just waiting a while would make it go away. I use Buffout alot, and seem to get addicted every third time... Jet is pretty common, and since it is n the wrong coast, I thought that was...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #29

When did Patrick Stewart become crappy compared to Liam? They didn't really give him much to do in Oblivion, not really his fault. gamerankings.com has a compiled score for fallout 3. Currently around 93.5, which I don't think is that far off. Its a 9 really. Phil

    Fallout 3 tidbits

I have had it hard freeze once, forcing me to totally shut the computer down. Another time it crashed, but I managed to Ctl-alt-delete out of it. It has crashed three or four times on exiting on my desktop, and virtually everytime on my laptop... Still only annoying, but not broken. I have...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #23

While I would agree the game is probably 9 out of 10 as a whole, how can a reviewer give it a straight 10/10, then give more than two examples of things he doesn't like... Wouldn't that my necessity mean it isn't perfect and not deserving of a 10?

NMA article: My Fallout 3 adventures!

There were alot of timeline issues with Fallout too though. Too much food still around, not enough decay for the amount of time. I always felt they should have kept the timeline a little tighter. Make it only 100 years or even less after the war. The wooden structure thing is a good...

NMA article: My Fallout 3 adventures!

What, when contemplating a lie to your significant other you are not capable of picking up on how likely you are to succeed? I'll have to look back, but I coud have sworn you get some sort of cue when a dialogue option was a result of a skill you had. Not all of them, but some. Phil

NMA article: My Fallout 3 adventures!

In FO it would flag a new dialogue option with the perk or skill that opened it up for you. But you're right, the writing for intelligent or science options is no different than the other options. Oh I see. Are you saying it shouldn't say what guns use that skill? fedaykin: Does the...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #20

Well, thats about 90% of the quests in Fallout 1 and 2 also. They are all pulled from somewhere. Your other points standthough. There needs to be more interaction like in Reno when people would yell your boxing name at you as you sprinted past.
