I wish all the best for CD Projekt Red and GOG. And they pulled one hell of advertizement out of their hat. I hope they aren't doing that to be bought by Microsoft next year...
Probably ME 3. Not totally sure, but i've heard ME 2 was Ok.
fallout lore was already messed by fo3. There wasn't much left to destroy.
GOT lore was already messed by S5, S6 and S7. There wasn't any expectation left.
The brand became meaningless 15 years ago, and yet, we are still there. Do we care more about the games that provide the kind of content that gathered us here in the first place or the licensed products that don't contain any shred of it ?
I have yet to play any of them, but i LOVE the concept of time moving on and having consequences regardless of you doing actions or not. Should provide ton of replayability.
It is irrelevant to compare anything than happens post-season 5 with the books.
(and even 5 had a lot of major differences, but at least it seemed they were still trying)
The showrunner had lost interest in their own show since the latter half of season 5. I had zero expectation from season 8.
That being said, the first half of season 8 was so boringly predictable, that the twist with Daenerys was refreshing. At least something was happening.
