Is Horizon: Zero Dawn connected to Fallout?

No, and I'll never understand how he wrote NV, one of the best games ever, and also wrote Horizon, one of the most boring games ever.

    Fallout 2 screen tearing

Hello, all. I've been having an issue with screen tearing while playing Fallout 2. I'm using AMD hardware and the issue persists even when I try to manually enable v-sync via the control panel. Does anyone here know of a solution?

Which games were a disaster? To what franchise?

The second game wasn't that great either.

Which games were a disaster? To what franchise?

Mass Effect 3 - between the auto-dialogue, Shepard being a complete and utter retard, the horrendous writing (especially in the beginning), the removal of the neutral dialogue option, and the ending, uh... yeah. The original vision for Mass Effect is something that was never realized. I'm...

Todd admits Fallout 4's Dialogue didn't work, you'll never guess what happened next

I agree, and it seems like this isn't just limited to Bethesda; Bioware's recent efforts also seem to be designed for players who don't enjoy RPG's. As a result I'm not very interested in their products these days.

The Legion is the best option for the wasteland

I'm not saying it would be perfect, but the Enclave's vision is still better than what currently exists.

    Skyrim Remastered

I don't think it looks quite as intense as an ENB. I'm waiting for a direct feed video of the trailer so I can do a fair comparison.

The Legion is the best option for the wasteland

The Legion are just a bunch of idiot tribals following a nut. As soon as Caesar bites the bullet, the Legion will fall apart. The best choice might have been the Enclave all things considered. Next to that I'd say NCR.

    Skyrim Remastered

    Here's a comparison from Eurogamer.

"Fallout 3 is Garbage, And Here's Why", video by hbomberguy

What console are you playing the game on? I know the PS3 version of F3 has issues, but the Xbox version of the game runs better and is less buggy than NV. At launch, F3 was more stable than NV. NV was practically unplayable regardless of what you played it on. I give Obsidian credit for patching...

Says he doesn't dismiss criticism and then proceeds to dismiss criticism until specific conditions are met. I think we're done here.

Yes, it requires a number of community made mods just to run the base game well. Console players have no access to such mods so their games remains forever broken. Fallout 3 may be an inferior Fallout experience when directly compared to New Vegas, but on a technical level it is a superior game...

    Skyrim Remastered

How is it any different than what CDPR does with the Witcher enhanced editions? It's also a free upgrade for people who own the game on Steam. Console players have to pay through the nose, but that's nothing new for them. They pay to play online P2P for heavens sake.

They're both incompetent but in different ways. Beth is obviously more so simply because they either have no idea what they're doing or have very little interest in making a Fallout game that even resembles or includes the fundamental ideas from the first two games that made them so memorable...

Obsidian may be better at making Fallout, but I wouldn't call them a competent studio.

Bethesda announces another E3 press conference

Apparently those who already own Skyrim and all DLC or the Legendary Edition get a free upgrade in October. That's cool, at least I don't have to put more money into a five year old game. As for Morrowind, I think Pete is right. "What the hell..." really would be the reaction from most fans who...

Fallout 4 getting increasingly negative reviews

More likely than not given their fanbase. Then again I thought Oblivion and Skyrim were pretty amazing games when they came out. Even Fallout 3 really hooked me despite it not being on the same level as the old games in many ways. Fallout 4 is the first game from Beth that gave me pause...

Bethesda announces another E3 press conference

If the Skyrim remaster rumors are true I'll be disappointed and somewhat excited. Would have preferred Morrowind.

How did you discover Fallout ?

Fallout 3. Prior to that I didn't even know the others existed. It wasn't until recently that I got Fallout 1&2 on Steam and played them. I completed Fallout 1 and am working on 2. It was hard at first to get into the games because they are so different. But once I put some time into them I...

Fallout 4 getting increasingly negative reviews

I hear that it's a good game but a really bad Fallout game. I've also heard that it's a bad RPG and the roleplaying aspect is almost nonexistent because you're railroaded into playing a good guy or a sarcastic good guy.
