That is extremely weird. I'll give it a shot and post my results. Are you trying the game in a windowed mode? I'll try both to make sure.

The 1.27 patch is the "No CD patch" and the complete collection has the 1.27 patch already. Does the game work already? If so you don't need to patch it, just try running it without the disk.

Release will be tomorrow not today. There is a small problem with the MM update that needs to be fixed.

The Vertibirds are all normal, the one in the random encounters transports your men around, the one in the bunker is lit by the opening above. The mission with the two Vertibirds is unfinished in v3.3 it's fixed in v3.4 and the 4 members that appear are not part of your original squad.

The mod is not currently compatible with the Mod Manager just yet, I'll make a patch and a quick tutorial when I'm home, later today. A update for the Mod Manager will be uploaded Friday along with a lot of new mods and addons, official tutorials will be posted as well.
