Does that mean I need the CD? I did the HUGE install and everything else required for no CD play.

Every time I try to play Fallout 2 from FaME, with or without mods enabled, I get this message. I have the FaME.exe and Patch folder in the Fallout2 folder. Any ideas? Thanks.

Root? You mean "C:\Fallout2\dev\proto" not "C:\Program Files\Fallout2\dev\proto"? So, putting the "dev" path in the "Program Files" folder is bad? I don't want to sound like a dick, but could you spell it out real simple? I honestly don't know what else to do. I'll play around with it...

I tried all that, too. I haven't been able to save my item edits. Do I need to use a DAT explorer to export the PRO files? What about the path in the mapper2.cfg, should it point to "data\proto" or "dev\proto"? I made librarian=1. Any other suggestions? I hope I don't sound like a total...
