    Fallout-like games which you enjoy

Telltale games aren't RPGs though? Also I definitely see Borderlands as the logical conclusion of Fallout under Bethesda. The franchise is just gonna slowly metamorphose into Borderlands. Like, it's already almost there after Fallout 4. They just need to remove dialogue options.

    Fallout-like games which you enjoy

Not for any post-apocalypse feel, but I was pretty into Serpent in the Staglands for a lot of the same reasons I was into Fallout 1, 2, and Arcanum. I was just a big fan of the faction interplay and the lack of handholding in a big, hostile world. It's not perfect, but it's a pretty engaging and...

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

"Pew pew pew" and "without violence" aren't the only things a game can be, just so you know.

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

Yeah, Bethesda really doesn't understand how to construct a joke anymore.

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

Ok, but the difference is that Fallout 2 and OWB are actually funny.

Good games you simply cannot get into (and ways to overcome it)

Baldur's Gate. I can't explain it, but something about it bores me to tears, which is weird because I'm pretty patient with games and love pretty much every other IE game. It's just those two. I'm fairly sure it's because the characters bore me. I've been spoiled by kotor 2 and Planescape...

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

I mean my problem with Mothership Zeta isn't, surprisingly enough, the fact that there are aliens. Hell, I honestly think that aliens could be handled well in the Fallout setting (I would have accepted that the Wanamingoes were actually aliens for instance. Also, as long as I'm doing a...

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

Is that really what it takes to make a good Fallout story now? Zany quirks and new lifeforms to murder? Like I get that that's more or less the core loop of Fallout 3, but is that where your standards are at? And I mean I guess it's subjective but shooting things in Fallout 3 was never...

    Why Mothership Zeta is awesome

Zeta and Anchorage were in my opinion the worst of the Fallout DLCs, and honestly the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I wasn't a huge fan of a franchise about player freedom getting reduced to a first-person corridor shooter. I got really bored of Zeta really fast. I don't think I ever...

What did you do with the Khans?

On my first run I left them alone to determine their own fate, and decided they kinda engineered their own destruction by forming an alliance with the legion. Now, though, I generally try to help them flourish in a place where they're not tied down by their history and allowed agency on a larger...

I'm wondering if the Great Khans should have been presented more ambiguously...

I feel like we also have to keep in mind that the Khans, the New Khans, and the Great Khans are essentially three different gangs? Like, canonically iirc doesn't only one dude survive the Vault Dweller's massacre? On top of that, it's been at least 120 years since the Khans' inception! Things...

Music that you associate with FNV

Looootsa rockabilly here, but what most stands out is a song I discovered from a mod I installed: Tons of fun when it came on during combat sections, too.
