Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

Starting from next release, packages will be created with compression method supported by Windows; if anyone wants to confirm, here is a pseudo-release package with repo snapshot from yesterday. Unpacking by OS takes absurd amount of time compared to 7zip, or even Total Commander... but hey, it...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

Hehe, none of us uses it either so we didn't spot it earlier. Either way, i'll make sure next release package(s) are windows-unzip-friendly (not a fan of "forcing" users to install 7zip when unpacking can be done by OS). That's a sign that Fallout1 files wasn't extracted properly; did you run...

OK, this is new. Which Windows you're using? 10? 7? Something else?

Fallout 2 mod FO2 Engine Tweaks (Sfall)

Me gusta. FOnline supports that since as long i remember, and it works pretty good. Needless to say, if you watch any video, you have 99.5% chance of seeing it enabled. Here one example, without usual players clutter.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

Updated .int files are now commited daily (starts at 4AM UTC, it takes few minutes until scripts are ready) unless at least one script cannot be compiled. In theory this shouldn't happen (heh), as during the day we get notifications if someone commits (possibly) broken script.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

Heh. That's just a comment, so we might sometimes forget about updating it (i think i'll add auto-updating it when creating release package). If you're truly curious which sfall version is actually used, you can always check it from command prompt (if i'm not mistaken, powershell is installed...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

How about archiving repo(s) [Settings -> Archive this repository] and adding big red this is not a repo you looking for? There still might be something useful out there. Maybe some docs, maybe some tools, i have no idea what's there honestly :D (except old Rotators doc and encounters map which...

gl_partycontrol, and some other, was already/partially merged with sfall-develop in r749; merged it fully now (will check other gl scripts later). Only difference from sfall is removed PID_MARCUS check.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

As much i'd love to move away from svn (and xp-dev) i don't see it happen in foreseeable future. SVN is Lexx's VCS of choice and (let's be honest) it's way easier for everyone to use SVN if you want to share repo with people who doesn't code on daily basic - we've been thru that a few times...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout et tu - Release v1.11

As you're already using repo, i think it's best to stick with it. Less chance to report things which has been fixed already, plus no need to recheck if some old bug is happening again, for whatever reason. Just keep in mind that compiled scripts are not always commited together with source...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 1 in Fallout 2

To expand on that, most of fixt stuff was either removed, modified so much it really ain't fixt anymore, or completly rewritten. With such trend, porting anything new from fixt 0.90 etc most likely won't happen; ideas - yes, if they're good, code - very unlikely...

    Fallout 2 utility ScanMsg

Program is mostly based on problems created found by Lexx during SD3 development (with few additions from MSG File Format page) and tested with Mutants Rising content long time ago. List of performed check (at the moment of writing this post) Extra brackets - includes "commented" old entries...

The Tangut Prophecy: FOnline, Historical, 12th Century China

Ahh, good to see FOnline being used for projects not related to Fallout universe; for sure more of them would help us making engine more flexible (silly example - i still can see default cursor). By looking on screens/video only - great job, keep it coming!
