    Do companions become useless later on? (FO1)

    Given they can not equip a more diverse powerful assortment of weapons, should I just ditch them as the enemies get more powerful?

    Escape military base FO1

    I've been teleported to Lou's military base from Necropolis after fixing the water pumps. Anyway to escape it outside loading an earlier save? Keep getting killed when I try to escape from the super mutant guarding the cells.
