High intelligence: A must when creating a character!

It makes the game about twice as hard. You can't get Vic without killing all the slavers, so early in the game this isn't an option because you simply don't have the man/firepower.

Most valuable NPCs in Fallout 2?

I would go with Sulik, Marcus and Cassidy. Skynet is shit, he moves too slow and he isn't that great at fighting.

    Talking heads

I agree. They just seem to make the game a lot better. I don't know how, but they are just better then the average text which bores you when they babble on with shit.

    common real world weapons

Yeah, I liked that too, but the only problem was that, they sucked. Once you got your hands on a decent weapon you aren't inclined to use the old ones anymore. They should make it so that you can't really get any better guns really quickly because it ruins the fun. Not that the energy weapons...

    common real world weapons

Like a big hammer? Anyways, I see what you mean. But the crappy guns will just stockpile in your inverntory, while you are only using a few decent ones. Having lots of different types of handguns may improve the realism of the game. But it will quickly get boring, the few handguns that you...

what were you doing on 9/11

I believe that I was in bed when the WTC tradgedy happened.

High intelligence: A must when creating a character!

A low intelligence makes the game even better once you finish it. You can't get as many quests and shit. But you can talk to Torr in Klamath...

    Unlimited NPC's

^ Yes. Getting through doors would be a hassle.

Can't you hold the A key when exiting a conversation or whatever to initiate combat first?

    sulik

"I found Sulik's sister! She was in a random encounter with slavers! No, she was in the slave pens in NCR! No, she was in a mystery location on the world map! No, she was in a locker in the Enclave! Really! She was somewhere but I can't tell you how to get there because I made it all up!"

    Klamath

Here is an internet rumour: You can use the Radscorpion claws as evidence against the Dunton brothers for pretending to be bugmen, after you finish the game. This is probably just a stupid rumour... But, I guess it gives me an insentive to play the game yet again.

    The freakin Vertibird at Klamath

I don't recall getting a yellow keycard. Its just there to set the atmosphere, I uhhh... guess.

    Gecko Pelts...

How in God's name could Gecko Pelts be worth anything in a post-nuclear world? They don't do ANYTHING at all and are worth a fair amount of money. Luxuries would be worth next to nothing in comparison with neccesities. Stupid gecko pelts... Actually there are a shitload of items that are...

    About the car

I generally don't worry about the Fuel Cell Controller or the Regulator. Just a waste of time from my perspective, by the time I use all the cars power, I usually have Microfusion cells galore.

    The sunglasses from....uh..?

They are some kickass sunglasses. I usually just kill Mason and pillage his carcass for them. Although I haven't checked to see whether they increase your Charisma in your inventory.

    Fallout 3 vehicles

Forms of public transport perhaps... only work on certain days/times and costs money. They should be able to make cars now... If they can produce all sorts of other techinical-out-of-this-world shit. Then why can't they make a 200HP car powered on Microfusion cells with a massive assed wing...

    Aimed shot changes

The way I see it: If you miss, you miss. Sure it would make the game easier. You have the percentage chance of actually hitting them in the eye which is enough realism for me. If you want REAL realism then everyone should die instantly when they get a .44 to the forehead.

    combat skills

Yes, an 'assasinate' option much like 'strangle' or something would be useful for killing people without alerting guards, instead of using my super stimpacks to kill the president....
  19. G

    common real world weapons

I agree. Though, more interesting weapons beat realism in the weapons availiable. In the year 2075 which is some time from now, there would be no reason to use ye olde M16, as they would be ancient history much like the WWII bolt action rifles are now. Laser technology as displayed in the game...

    new critters

The Interplay team could at least double the amount of critters in the game with no worries at all. What would be nice though, is if they made different skins for the Human people. I'm sick of seeing that guy in yellow pyjamas, and that dude in the green clothes.
