Was anyone else massively disappointed the whole BoS Father Elijah thing wasn't fleshed out more? All the discussion of how he was a mighty techno wizard and how he mysteriously disappeared at Helios One... Given that there was a floaty tentacle arm brain bot at the top of Helios One in stasis...

Something that just occurred to me... trigger discipline increases your time between shots, but it also probably makes the VATS AP cost for each shot use 20% more AP, right? I'm terrible at maintaining accuracy during sustained fire so trigger discipline is a good trait for me in real time...

I am still disappointed in the way ghouls look. Hopefully I won't also be disappointed in the way they're implemented this time around also (personality, society, ferals, combat).

I found some info on it in the FAQ, which I guess I never bothered to scroll down that far before. So it was basically the engine they were going to build all future "Baldur's Gates" and "Icewind Dales'" on? Was FO3 originally going to be built on this engine?

I've only loosely paid attention to this site and FO3 until recently, and I know it was called Van Buren. However, I constantly see references to Jefferson. What is/was it and what happened?
