Sometimes they just leave. There's a wrench in the Vault on the second floor, but I think you'll need to pick a lock, so I hope your lockpick skill doesn't suck too much.
I have a feeling that this is a problem that's only happening to me, but the weapons merchant in San Fransisco doesn't carry any Gauss Rifles, or ammo for the gauss pistols. This is kind of frustrating, considering it's my favorite weapon (obviously) and my other two weapon skills are at 6%...
I have no idea, it just did. I don't know if this has any impact on it at all, but I'm a ranger, and the Sherrif reacted on that. Except for that, I did exactly what I wrote there (even tested it a second time) and it happened just like I described.
I did get the XP for stopping the brawl, so I'm certain I completed the quest.
Alright, here's what I did: I went in there, talked to a lady and said I was helping the sherrif. Thinking this was sufficient to complete the quest, I returned to the sherrif, but he told me that I still had to...
I went to Redding and got the bar brawl mission from the sherrif. After breaking it up (Without arresting that Corlioni or whatever his name was) he didn't aknowledge my victory and just kept saying that I had to break up the brawl.
Reinstalling did fix it, and I didn't even have to use an earlier save. At first I was going to reply that it was my first time in the NCR, but then I remembered that the first time I entered the city, I actually drove out and then re-entered (without entering any other cities, I just had that...
When I try to exit NCR, the game consistenly crashes, much like it did when I tried entering the Sierra Army Depot with the old version of Killapp's patch.
EDIT: To be more specific, it crashes when I try to exit the main city (with the police station and all that) and enter the outskirts...
I'm pretty sure I didn't. In fact, I don't think I did anything with any affiliates of the master, but it doesn't really matter at this point. It's not like I missed out on tons of exp.
This is probably a hint or something, but since I already killed every mutant in there and found no-one else (except for some cultists), would you mind telling me what the hell happened?
Also, if I may derail my own thread; are there any known bugs with bags? I lost a ton of stuff out of...
I just got to Necropolis (64 days left or something before the water runs out) and for some reason every single ghoul was dead. Set, the gang in the sewers, EVERYONE.
The mutants were alive, though. Is this a bug? I'm playing 1.1.
Alright, thanks a lot! For some reason the reinstall I did when I got the CD didn't overwrite the config file from the old kazaa download install. Strange.
When I play Fallout 2, there's no music in-game. However, there is in Fallout. So, I have to make sure; is there music in Fallout 2? (apart from that little sound clip in the casino in Redding, and movies of course).
Oh man, I've got 90 days left, I better find that last location quickly! Fallout is pretty damn buggy. You can click on some people and they say "Error" -_-
He just talks about the water chip, and I've already gotten the military base (even though I suspect there's another leaderl than "Lou" I should kill) If I find this leader, will that be enough for me to finish the game?
After retrieving and returning the water chip, I went to the Hub and asked the Water Merchants to bring water to the Vault (just to test it) after that I accidentally saved and then I saw that I again had a time limit, but of for 200 days. I decided to not care and went to destroy the mutant...
