Basically, Power Armor is on limited fuel. Except if you scrounge, the fuel ain't that limited. Then, you can get perks that boost that limited fuel farther. So I assume that eventually, you get a magic pre-war core and can use the Power Armor forever.

Poor Bethesda. I'm sure their execs are having trouble sleeping on their piles of money, surrounded by many beautiful women/men because of all of this.

My problem is that the hierarchy of Deathclaws is all wacky. Alpha and Matriarch should be higher up on the list. Why does a savage deathclaw do more damage than a pack leader? Why does it seem like there is more than just one mythic deathclaw? I just see a bunch of fart noises.

Yeah, just kind of have the higher ranking members be the ones with the highest level of control with descending tiers of ability with the majority of the clan having very little if any psionic powers.
