Fallout 3 sales by the numbers

Yeah, on second glance (hurray internet), I can't find anything to say they don't cover pre-orders.

Fallout 3 sales by the numbers

Those numbers don't include presales, and iridium_ionizer numbers are wrong. PC Collectors Addition is $70, the 360 Collectors is $80. Bethesda has probably made a good bit off it (or will).

    Emil Pagliarulo impromptu fan Q&A

Well, I'm glad he finally had some time to talk on the forum a bit. It is quite nice to see developers do that. You know Mord_Sith, that entire rant would make a lot more sense if you replaced 'FOR GAMERS' and 'fans' with 'Fallout Fans'. Seriously, if Bethesda made the type of game 'Gamers'...

'Series Loyalty and Straying from the Path'

Re: Which Side Are You On? Am I the only one that thinks it is hilarious to attack a editorial that makes extensive references to Metroid by saying that FPS changes are all about graphics? Seriously, if that was true Nintendo would at least try to be graphically competitive on the hardware...

Interplay reopens in-house studio, hires Jason D. Anderson

Wait a minute, y'all actually think Interplay is going to pull out of this tailspin? The only reason they're recreating a development studio is that nobody (not even crazy people) would give money to a company without a development studio so they could develop a game. They'd be better off...

    Play.tm previews Fallout 3

Well, if the gaming press is still dumb enough to be giving them previews off of it, why bother changing it? (Besides the obvious advantage of more feedback)

MSN Tech and Gadgets UK interviews Pete Hines

Well, considering computers can't really process feelings, I don't see much of an alternative to a number system... I mean, a more complex system would be nice, but on the base level, it would still be a number (or a combination of numbers)...

ZeniMax Media Receives $300 Million Investment

Definitely an interesting read. It really makes you wonder about where ZeniMax is trying to go. They've been getting a lot of intellectual property lately, and increasing the size of Bethesda itself. Perhaps they're looking to become a bigger player in the publishing realm.

Fallout 3 Official Site goes multi-lingual

Probably a lot about markets (and as previously mentioned, pirating), but I wouldn't be surprised if it also had a little to do with the fact that Polish, Russian, and Czech are all Slavic. Maybe the translator they used didn't do Slavic languages... Hopefully they'll fix the problem.

I honestly don't get the Fallout 3 hate.

The problem is that a lot of what they're doing appears to just be a repackage of the Elder Scrolls series... Changing the name of the series doesn't make it innovative.

    What's this, then?

True, but I'm pretty sure I saw Interplay Brand Dead Rats at the store yesterday too... They're selling anything they can...

Top 25 Best Selling Video Games Ever

Comparing the Fallout and Pokemon franchises is like comparing apples and oranges, man. Sure, they're both fruits and they both can be seen by the human eye, but other than that, they're different. Anyways, isn't Pokemon one of those games that gets cited as an example of Nintendo's habit to...

    What's this, then?

I was thinking larger. Like instead of a tech demo, the actual game build, if they got that far.

    What's this, then?

Well, let's see, it won't be anything released from Bethesda... I highly doubt anything from Interplay, seeing as they're basically a bankrupt company waiting to die (Seriously, they're only alive since they sold the Fallout license, and since they'll never get the financial backing to make a...
