    Powerful weapons in FO3...

It depends.. Centaurs, Mutants are no problem, even the "Super Mutant Brutes" armed with a minigun. A giant radscorpion, on the other hand, was much more challenging. The whole difficulty just feels really odd, it's strange how they nerfed certain types of enemies. That's what I originally...

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

Yeah, I'm a youngster, so what  I played FO1 at first and then, two years later or so, I picked up FO2. That made a difference. Then they should have replaced the high amount of HP with more armor protection. I'm not here to say that FO2 was flawlessly designed, but I can look over...

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

FO1 was too long ago, I'm referring to FO2. And yes, some of them were really strong, but that's the whole point of such a threat like the Enclave, at least for me. Aliens, Deathclaws, Super Mutants, Centaurs... They all were dangerous, and most enemies are just a piece of cake in the new...

First day of Fallout 3 - my first impressions

So true. I miss the old Fallout soundtrack, it was always kind of mysterious and creepy.

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

Oh, I have to say that I'm impressed by the Deathclaws. I could still manage to kill one far up in the north by crippling its legs and then killing it with an SMG ( ), but it was MUCH more difficult than fighting most of the usual stuff.

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

The AI, I think, is not so bad at all. Much better than I expected after I realized FO3 is essentially an overhauled Oblivion. This doesn't change the fact that the game is less too challenging. And Sorrow, I only gave Centaurs/Floaters as an example, Super Mutants were a real bitch in FO2...

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

Yes, they have powerful weapons too, but it doesn't matter. Dodge, shoot, dodge. FPS-style. And yes, they are protected, it's a clickfest. But that doesn't make it difficult, Centaurs at level 4 are a joke. I feel they are about as difficult as 2-3 piss poor Raiders with a 10mm, it's...

    Powerful weapons in FO3...

*Possible spoilers ahead* Hey, so far I'm enjoying the game more than I expected to, but I hope you can clarify one thing for me... Why, oh WHY do you get the Fat Man and 5+ mini-nukes about an hour after having arrived in Megaton? This shit is ridiculous, I fought my way to...

    Armor & Inventory system

I personally think it should be done in one specific way, with the rest of the game totally dedicated to this idea. If you're implementing the neccessity of water and food, go with that and make a simulation out of it where the player needs to sleep etc. Stalker is one good example for me...

Cassidy is severely pissing me off

Thanks, that explains a lot, I was baffled when I saw that Cassidys combat setting was set back to "Be careful not to hit me". Well, that's kind of annoying, but what can you do. I'll try "charge!" out though, and if it gets too sickening I'll look for a single shot weapon then. (isn't there...

Cassidy is severely pissing me off

Hey there, Well I really enjoy playing Fallout 2, but the NPC behaviour is just plain.. annoying. I made the huge mistake of giving Cassidy a Jackhammer and enough shells to blast the whole Enclave to hell, and now I have to reload more frequently because of my companion than the actual bad...
