Armor and DR

Ok, having trawled the net i can't find a conclusive answer to this question:

Does any armor in NV have DR?

The armors statistics do, sometimes, show a DR value, but i read DR was cut from NV and DT determines armor effectiveness. Also the wiki makes no mention of any armor having DR.

With Jsawyer.esp? Yes. with out it? no.
Although you can earn some DR temporary with Med-x and slasher.
With Jsawyer.esp, midium armor and heavy armor gain some DR

Ha! THanks man. Well, i only ever play with jsawyer. And now you told me this i don't think i'll EVER play without it!

I mean - shit - i really struggle to justify weighing myself down with combat or power armor WITH the DR. If it didn't have DR why would anyone ever bother wearing med/heavy armor? (except that it looks cool which is a fair reason )

Provide protection to your Hardcore companions. Especially Veronica and her penchant to jump into the fray.

Absolutely - and they don't seem to be slowed down by heavier armor either! I do generally provide my companion with the best armor I have, because when we go up against really powerful enemies i'll be hiding in the corner because i take 200% damage and with jsawyer you have fewer hit points.

But i'm still interested to know - does anyone use medium/heavy armor (without jsawyer) for staying-alive purposes? If so - why? for the few extra DT points? I suppose i find it marginally useful because on Very Hard enemies do 200% damage and therefore punche through DT very easily....

still better then nothing since you can bear a hit  seriously. before I get combat armor, I should evade every attack to survive even fight with powder ganger. For strong damage and weak defence, you should kill them quickly with SMG or snipe them before get you.

I play the game in skimpy nightwears. I can not justify dressing my girl in those layers and layers of protection.

The risk is not too great, considering Very Hard and the numerous chems, foods, drinks and mags.
