I'm sure most of you remember "Fallout 3 is garbage and here's why". The guy who made that video, Hbomberguy, has made another video recently titled "Bethesda VS Critics: How To Save The Games Industry"

Thoughts?
 
Same song and dance that has been going on for a while now. Nevertheless, he's right. Sucks to see the sort of anti-consumer policies that companies are beginning to adopt, but it's kind of hopeful to see studios like Firaxis that let people play their major title a month in advance with no strings attached. Confidence in the final product is key.

I wil say, it's a little weird to see Bethesda go from "we're broke as shit guys, let's just make a great game" to "we're filthy rich, let's make games that meet a minimal standard."
 
Yeah, this is a pretty cool video.
On a side note, I may have slipped this guy a link to our interview with Chris A in a PM...

I think he was slightly weirded out by it.
 
Love this guys videos. I maybe giving folks too much credit, but I think folks are starting to catch on.
