Critter walking animations skip on 1 hex movement

First time out of the vault
I am making a sprite and i'm struggling with diagonal animations. (I'm testing it on the player in FO1).

When i walk down a single hex, it skips the animation and just teleports me to it. Same story when i walk longer distances and there's one hex remaining. I tried modifying offsets in frame animator and changing the sprite boundaries, but it's still doing the same thing.

Anyone else ever had this problem?
 
Nevermind, i think i fixed it by turning off "Lock offsets" and offseting each frame manually.
