I can't find ANY evidence this mod ever existed, but I swear years ago I saw a fix mod for Kid in the Fridge, where you talk to Billy as normal but when you open the door, there's nothing but a child's skeleton inside and you're left to wonder if you were talking to a ghost or your SS is losing their mind.
For me, that actually made the quest memorable, ambiguous and powerful for character building. And I can't find anything about it.
