Fallout 2 mod Does the Unofficial Fallout Patch fix Gecko Ending?

I'm playing Fallout 2 with the Unofficial Patch and Restoration Project only. I solved the Gecko quest in this order: deliver economic disk, fix power plant, optimize power plant. However, now I am reading that it is bugged and I will receive the enslavement ending because I did not do it in this order: fix, optimize, economy disk.

Was this fixed in the patch (1.02.31) or do I have to start over for the good ending?

Yes it's fixed in UP.

• Corrected an instance when you could no longer get the good ending for Gecko after fixing the power plant.
