F2 - No Keyboard

Just got FO2 working after messing with third party drivers, it seems like standard ATi Radeon drivers no longer support the resolution needed to run the game or even the installer. Anyways, I got that worked out and started playing and noticed that the game doesn't seem to be detecting any of my keystrokes.

I therefore cannot open the main menu (I assume there is one to open) and can't save or anything like that.

Specs: Win XP Pro SP3 (Not a typo)
ATi Radeon x1300XT 256mb
1gig of RAM
Not sure what other specs may be of assistance but I will gladly provide more information, as long as you're not a mutant, of course.
 
While I have not the technical knowledge to help you, I should note there is no problem with playing Fallout 2 without a keyboard, it can be played with mouse only, as the keyboard only provides quick-button and has no essential functionality.

The main menu can be accessed by clicking the big O button under the INV button.

(it is easier to play with quick-buttons available, tho')
