Fallout 1 / 2 inspired instrumental track. Opinions wanted!

First time out of the vault
A few days ago I was messing around in my studio after playing Fallout 2, the images of battling Enclave in the Navaro environment's desert hills fresh on my mind. I decided to combine thei Enclave's military origins with (versus) the tribal history of the game's protagonist and when I was done it sounded like this.
Please bear in mind that this is just an experiment and the composition is unfinished and may be rhythmically incorrect. With some more work and time I will be able to finish it but I would like some constructive criticism and comments. Also please don't use this music for anything because I am using it for my portfolio and I don't want other people uploading it anywhere and be accused of plagiarism down the line.

Anyway, enjoy!

Come on guys, only one reply? :O

Patience is a virtue. ;)

The problem might be that one has to actually download the file to have a listen. You should put it up on one of those audio hosting sites that autoplay when you click the link.

Anyway, I did download it and I had a listen and it's actually pretty darn good. It's too short to have me go: "Oh man, that is a sick tune", but it's got a lot going for it. I say :ok:

Heard it. Liked it. Didn't know what to say, really.

That.

Also, if you're looking for more constructive criticism you should put it on youTube (maybe with some static image of fallout-esque setting). That will get more people to listen to it and comment.

Since I'm not good at music I can't give an artistic critic just my opinion: This could really fit in the game, I like it :ok:

Do I recognize your nick Xavier? Blazer ring a bell?

@Candlejack; not really actually. Where should I know you from?

Thanks for the comments :) Next time I'll upload on Youtube.
I've made some changes so I'm removing the link as it is to an old version :)
Thanks again guys.

I just wanted to try it, then you removed the link.
Grmlhl..... :)

Gotta wait for the reupload then.

Never mind then.

I can recommend soundcloud for your uploading. It's free and people won't have to download any tracks.

Any chance of reuploading it, xavier?
I do such fallouty music myself (see signature) and I am very interested what others do. :)
