Fallout 2 makes top adult games list

Great, I didn't know people start to be intelligent only when they are 18.

You didn't know it? Thats why everyone is yelling "stupid kid!" and stuff. :)

A rare intelligence and wit?

Apparently it's so rare that I've been unable to find it in any of the previews so far.

I doubt Fallout 2 would make the list if 3 wasn't coming out next month, nothing wrong with a little marketing. I'm surprised that Bloodlines did not make the list, the game is violent, sexy, and written really well. Anyone know if there is another Masquerade video game coming out soon?

Not a chance. White Wolf publishing KO'd Masquerade 4 years ago, and now have a different Vampire TT game with some recycled terms. And they, and CCP (who now own the company; makers of EVE Online, just in case you didn't know) are now probably working on an MMO set in WW's new World of Darkness universe. So a single-player game might be a ways off.

Besides, even if they are giving more attention to Fallout 1/2 because of 3, how is that a bad thing? I wouldn't like Fallout 3 directly riding the corpse of the originals in meaningless hype, but the originals getting extra exposure and thus more people being introduced to these wonderful games = not a bad thing.

Man, you guys are a paranoid bunch.

Its great that they included FO2 on the list. But it seemed a bit odd including an old game from 98 compared to others (except Leisure Suit Larry but thats pretty much the only mainstream sex game that I'm aware of). If the new Duke Nukem game was coming out soon he would have made the list, but its not so screw Duke Nukem.

No shit. Should be listed as "Games recommended for children because of intelligent content."

Unless they are just old bastards talking about Monty Python references and what the fuck "Fluffers" are. lulz,

Should put Torment and F1 on the list instead. Those are better examples of "Critical thinking for adults".

Hah, haven't you seen our members. We are the ones who actually LIVE in fallout shelters because "THE MUTANT CAPITALISTS WANT TO POISION OUR WELL WATER WITH THEIR HORRIBLE GAMING JOURNALISM AND SPEND OUR TAX MONEY" We are the ones with gun collections influenced to a certain degree by fallout. We are the ones who occupy this form. We are the ones praying and afraid of the event of nuclear holocaust because of our third-person perspective on society, and our questionable sexual, political, and drug habits. We shine beautiful, faint, radioactive glow in our individuality and brilliance on a society full of clones and repetition.

The few. The Proud. The highly paranoid edge of society.

*Edit* I need to see a psychiatrist.

It's funny that teenagers have to read certain novels for school because they are mature, intelligent, meaningful, etc. but somehow games that possess those qualities are "adult only".

We know it isn't actually out yet, but we couldn't help but include Ninja Gaiden 2 as number six in our list
Didn't that come out this summer? Wouldn't that make this list pretty old?

Dude, did you even watch that thing? Most of those games are "adult only" because they're unintelligent tripe filled with boobies, blood and cusswords.

Oh, no. 18 year olds are still retards. Functionally similar to a bowl of lukewarm pudding in critical thinking areas.
