Additionally Green Man Gaming had sent out keys so if you have ordered from that site check your E-mail.

They already started data mining it, they have the names of all companions, number of quests, ions for said quests and the names.

Really? Most of that is already from other sources. All the companions are on a scan from a magazine for example. People are claiming it's encrypted I don't know.

The Fallout 4 hub has Game ripped icons for the companions and quests. They als ohave all location names directly from the game's files.

Many people have the full game. German stores have sold it.

"All preloaded game files, as well as files on the retail DVDs and user-created backups are encrypted with a key stored on the steam servers. This key will not be distributed to users until the release date; as such, it is impossible to decrypt the preload data until the release happens, unless you can hack the steam backend servers themselves and change the release date there (good luck!). This encrypted distribution system has always been a major selling point for steam, and is why no PC Valve release on steam has ever been cracked prior to release."

All evidence I see says you can't crack the preloaded stuff which makes sense. Otherwise preloading would be foolish for any company that didn't want leaks for example.

Yeah because we all know the Steam DRM has never been cracked by pirates before...

So the better explanation is heavy encryption has been broken in days and not tons of people already have the game? Why do you have such a hard time ever not being right? It's like a sickness.

Because you can't unencrypt console games as easily and the game runs on an Engine that already has like 3 versions of an editing tool released by the same company?. Yo uare surprised at people unencrypting shit in games in mere days? Welcome to 2015...
Also the game comes in a DVD but weights 24gb which means that you still have to download most of it anyways. It's kind of standard practice nowadays. Why do you always need to argue with what is comprobable with just simple facts? People are already Data mining it, there is a wiki dedicated to that, they have the full list of quests, companions and locations. Go argue with them and tell them that they didn't do it...

So they claim and can prove they're datamining Steam encrypted games? Show me. It's not simple facts when it's notoriously hard to do and in days when hundreds or thousands have the full game already other ways?

Battlecross, please, play some more Fallout New Vegas, because you seem to have problems with letting go... :whatever:

If the encryption is done right, with current technology it is not possible to break it.
