Fallout 44 - Custom content for Neverwinter Nights 1

Drenark

First time out of the vault
I hope I'm not in the wrong place to talk about my project. If this is the case, I sincerely apologize (so forgive me because my English is pretty bad...)

What is the Fallout 44 - Blossom Paradize Project ?

The main objective is to collect, compile and create a set of ressouces pasting the Fallout 1 and 2 universe above all (3 and New Vegas are not exclued but this is not a priority) and share it with all the Neverwinter Nights community.

The second goal is to have at my disposal enought content to make my own module Fallout playable on Neverwinter Nights 1.

My work is based in part on the D20 Modern Team content (Huge thanks !) but I did sort through the content to retain only what fits in Fallout (placeable, item, armor and weapons, tileset) ; Some elements were retextured by me for a post-apocalyptic atmosphere. I'm the author of another content like compilation of a sounds from Fallout 1 and 2, portraits, custom interface, new placeables (very simple because I'm lousy 3D modeling).

I also got hold of 3D content for Fallout Van Buren (the "real" Fallout 3) but for the moment I have difficulties to integrate in NWN because of a problem of scaling.

So if you interested by this project, you can have a preview with this video on youtube.

More information on Fallout 44 blog. Don't be scary by the language, you have to your disposition a translate tool ;-) .

Thank you for your attention !

Very cool stuff. When the Van Buren tech demo released, I actually remember thinking to myself that the graphics wouldn't look out of place in NWN and hoping that it would come with a module creator that was as robust. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

Thanks for your comments :) .

About Van Buren, you can see the first placeable integration in Neverwinter Nights (Brotherhood banner). I'm impatient to share this content with the community.

Hey. i was wondering if you still developing the project ... cause i couldn't find the video and the blog was removed.
Just wondering because i really liked your project, and considering i own a nwn persistent module i could, really, use some more features.

The blog is now closed and the youtube videos are removed. Don't worry, the project is not abandoned but I have not had time to get back on NWN this year (other more important personal projects in progress).
Currently, I am the reflected to a new website to host my post-apocalyptic projects, including Fallout 44 .

This looks pretty cool. I hope that you will be able to succeed with this coming to life.
