"Fallout Cascadia is an upcoming new world mod for Fallout 4 set in a retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic version of Seattle and the surrounding areas. Users will start a new adventure entirely separate from the main game. The scale of this project is closer to an expansion or DLC. We currently have many excited team members working on this project to the bring the Pacific Northwest to the world of Fallout. Inside the mod, players will find new quests that challenge them mentally and morally, locations that tell a story, and factions that are vying for control. Release Date TBA"

Seattle? Don't you dare, bitch... Joking, it's not like they'll move foward with something even resembling Seattle with the base ASSets.

That already sounds much better than Fallout 4 already. I doubt the Fallout 4 engine would be very cooperative with their plans though but I'm open to be proven wrong.

As @R.Graves puts it though, it would be a lot better to use the engine from 3/New Vegas and make a new NV mod. They could even use the Lucky 38 model for the Seattle Space Needle.

Taken from the link:
Bethesda's version of the universe is different that Black Isle's which was even different than Obsidian's. With this mod we would like to blend the best aspects of each developer, into a cohesive and awe-inspiring world.
This would be interesting to see if the project does succeed.

I've been looking in to Fallout Cascadia, and it turns out that they are actually reworking the dialogue and skill system

Also, from there homepage:
"It will contain several large settlements such as the capital of the Republic of Cascadia, Cascade. Fallout Cascadia takes places decades after previous Fallout games, in the year 2329. To capture this time period we are making use of texture artists and asset creators to show the slow progress of the wasteland to a post-post-apocalyptic society. But make no mistake, conflict and turmoil still grips this wasteland."

I'm not saying this is going to be the Fallout 4 equivalent of New Vegas, but this is going to be the Fallout 4 equivalent of New Vegas.

You can´t escape that. So yeah, Bethesda being Bethesda. Aren't they cute?
It was hidden behind a spoiler tag, so I can understand why you didn't see it, but my post on this thread had a picture of the Dialogue system from Cascadia.

They actually did rework it, and removed the four choice system.

I see now. Awesome.

I remember........someguy2000 perhaps, complain about that and saying that he´ll not make any mods for F4 and that limitation is one of the reasons.

Also, SKILLS

If this can fix some of the broken FO4 derp I'll give it a try. But I can't promise anything if Preston gravy shows up.

Does this also try to fix the bullet sponginess of enemies by any chance?

Maybe. It's VERY simple to actually do this, but if they will choose to do it, it's another story.

That price tag, tho
If this has been since around launch in development, it might not require DLC. Then, vanilla is actually reasonably priced at sales.

Also, I don't think this is gonna be a New Vegas. Hopefully it's an Enderal. Then I'm sold.

Why shouldn't it fathom New Vegas' design? At least SPECIAL is put to actual use, 13 years after creation, FFS.
