So here's my new FanFic series, hopefully I'll take this one more seriously than others I've done.
But yeah, I'm just doing the whole actual Pilot thing and just seeing how well this first chapter does.
If it does well, then I'll probably put the rest of the series out in a few months (on a weekly basis of course).
So yeah, enjoy
Fallout: Legacy
Episode One- Pilot
Alicia walked alone down the corridor, each step taking her closer to darkness.
Her long red hair bounced off her leather jacket as she walked quickly, her pale skin becoming consumed.
It was a Saturday and her day’s work had been done, it was a day filled taken down a conspiracy to murder her boss.
She had never even met her boss; this was the first time she had a chance to speak to them directly.
Of course, this meant Alicia was nervous, maybe too nervous. What if she misspoke or messed up her sentences? Afraid was an understatement, this was a very powerful man she was meeting and one false move could lead to her death… or worse.
She reached the door, her heart missed a beat as she put her hand on the handle.
Then, she had enough courage to open the door.
Inside was a small office, darkness filled the room with the only thing to be seen was a thick layer of smoke and a pair of eyes following her around the room.
“You must be Alicia” a cold raspy voice said.
“Yes, are you must be… I never really got you name” Alicia choked on her words, how could she never ask the name of her own boss?
“It’s okay, call me Frank. Now we’re on first name basis, I need you to do me a favour” The Boss replied as another layer of smoke filled the room.
“What is it?” Alicia asked, slightly relived that he seemed to not mind her not knowing his name.
“There’s another person I need you to get, someone very close to me. We’ve found him but I feel you’re the best person for the job. I need you to do whatever it takes to get this person back to us” Frank said.
“Who do you need? And why do you think I’m the best?” Alicia was confused, she had not expected to be given another assignment so soon.
“This person’s identity is classified, but I want him back here alive. And I want you as you’re the only one who can seduce him, if it needs to come to that. I understand he is a very… active person to say the least. You’ll be paid handsomely” Frank answered.
Alicia felt uncomfortable, she didn’t want to feel like a common whore but how could she answer back to one of the most powerful men in the Wastes?
“I’ll do it” she smiled… reluctantly.
Jeffrey sat in the local bar, downing his fifth shot of the night. He was surrounded by women whom were all impressed in the amount of alcohol he could take.
He was a young man with short brown hair and stumble which looked like he hadn’t shaved in a couple of days. He was wearing an old stained white shirt with black trousers, his usual get-up.
“I’ll buy you another shot” one of the Women smiled as she put 15 caps down on the table.
The Bar man looked at them and coughed, he was an older man who almost looked like a Ghoul.
“So, whose turn is it tonight? Last night was the ever-beautiful Kacie, whom could be at artist. Very good technique. I might need to have a think about what lucky lady I take home tonight” Jeffrey smiled as another shot was placed in front of him.
“Maybe this sixth could help me decide” he smiled as he down the shot.
At that moment, Alicia walked in and saw Jeffrey who was surrounded by the Women.
This must be her guy, she thought as she approached him.
She was still rather nervous; she hadn’t been working for Frank for very long and one false move could cost her life.
“Are you Jeffrey?” she smiled as she approached the group.
Jeff looked up and was in a daze. From where he was sitting, she was the most beautiful women he had seen in the room. From the Barman however, she was just another person looking to get fucked.
“I think my sixth shot has given me the answer” Jeffrey smiled as he smashed the glass on the table, bits of glass fell everywhere as the Barman sighed.
The other women walked out looking rather disappointed. Alicia sat on a chair next to him and put down 30 caps, asking for two shots.
“So, what is your name?” Jeff asked, trying to look as charming as possible while rather drunk.
Alicia thought about it for a second, if she gave out her real name, would that compromise her?
She wanted to drop all relation to this job once she was done so she could carry on living a normalish life.
“My name’s Lucy” she lied, trying to smile to cover up her shaking.
“Nice to meet you Lucy” Jeffrey smiled, putting his hand out for a handshake.
The two shook hands…
A group of Raiders approached the Bar, there were about four of them, three men and one female.
They looked like they were in for serious business, one holding a baseball bat and the woman carrying a small handgun.
“How much does he owe us again?” one of the raiders asked.
“About 500 caps” the Woman replied, seemly the leader of the small group.
They went in the Bar.
“Jeffrey!” one of them shouted.
Jeff turned around and quickly ducked under the nearest table.
“You’re a fucking idiot Jeff” The Woman shouted.
“I don’t have the caps right now” Jeffrey replied.
“You don’t have the caps for us, but you can spend it on cheap hookers like this slut here” the Woman spat, nodding towards Alicia.
Alicia felt insulted and so pulled out her gun and aimed it at the Female raider.
“A slut with balls” the Raider smiled as the two went into a standoff.
“She’s crazy, I don’t know her” Jeffrey cried.
“Oh grow up Jeffrey, she’s a braver shit than you. Stupider, then again, I don’t think you can handle someone smarter” The Female Raider laughed.
“I’m no whore” Alicia spat as she fired her weapon right in-between the Raider’s eyes.
The bullet took her victim flying back and hit her against the Wall.
The other Raider’s looked at each other in disbelief.
“That bitch took her out” the Raider with the Baseball bat cried.
Alicia pointed her gun at one of the Raider’s with no weapons and shot him dead.
And then another…
And then finally, the Raider with the Baseball was down.
Jeffrey crawled out the table and looked around the Room where he saw nothing but dead bodies.
“Who are you?” he asked.
“You know my name, I’m just a traveller however, I tend to get into all kinds of trouble like this all the time” Alicia smiled as she put her weapon away.
“Well, it’s not safe for us anymore here, I might need to join you if that’s okay” Jeffrey sighed.
That was easy, Alicia thought.
“Yeah sure, I could with the company” she smiled as the two left the Bar.
Angus was a tough Raider, he was the leader of the small group known as the “Siege”, a gang that descended from the Settlement of Winter Haven, just outside Orlando.
He was a bulky man with long black hair and wore an old rusty Brotherhood Power Armour suit.
“Have you heard back from Amanda and her group on the Jeffrey situation?” the man’s voice bellowed through the Halls.
“No, we’re working on it sir” another Raider wearing an old torn military uniform replied.
“Good, I don’t want this to carry on much longer” Angus replied.
Two other Raider guards walked in, one male, the other female.
“Sir, there’s a man who wishes to see you” the Woman whispered.
Angus stared at her with deathly eyes.
“Bring him in, but next time, speak up” Angus ordered.
The woman croaked as the two walked away.
After a few minutes, a man in a black suit walked in with a hat and sunglasses.
He looked like he was in his 50’s as he moustache was oddly grey.
“You must be Angus” the man smiled.
“What do you want?” Angus barked.
“I wish to talk to you about Jeffrey, you see, going after him would make the People I work for… very angry” the man explained.
“Who are you?” Angus shouted.
“My name is Thomas, and I’m here to tell you that your wishes go against that of my employer, if you continue to dabble in such affairs, then I’m afraid you will be eliminated” Thomas replied.
Angus stood up from his chair and walked slowly towards the man.
“You dare come to me and threaten me in my Home?” Angus barked.
“You lay one hand on me, and they will come for you. Your weapons are nothing against them, for you’re nothing more than a petty raider group. I represent an army, one that will take back what was taken from us many years ago” Thomas smiled.
Angus stopped, was the man’s threat real?
“Tell your army to bring it on” Angus laughed.
“Very well, it’s a shame we couldn’t see eye to eye” Thomas laughed as he started walking out the door.
At that moment, Angus clicked his fingers as the man in the Uniform gave him a sledge hammer.
“See you in Hell” Angus shouted as he run towards the man and smashed him with the sledgehammer.
Thomas burst around the room. The walls were painted with blood as hardly anything remained.
“Next person to disturb me, will suffer a punishment worse than that” Angus shouted as he walked back to his chair.
Frank sat in his chair surrounded by another cloud of smoke.
The door opened to reveal a man in a suit, this one looked years younger than Thomas but still had the same haircut.
“Frank, he is dead” the man cried.
“It’s okay Junior, he knew it would be his last assignment. That’s why he wanted to go. Anyway, tell the men to prepare, we’ll send a letter of preparation to them. I don’t want to find an unworthy enemy now” Frank replied as another could of smoke filled the air.
The door closed as Frank sat in silence…
