I just saw this. Fucking amazing I have to say, makes you wonder how long until this becomes the norm.


There's another one for Skyrim that seems to work better, voices aren't so robotic



Although, I have to say, having to type everything will get old real quick, some form of voice recognition would be far better. Imagine fighting Super Mutants and be able to give your companions orders vocally. Reminds me a bit of Tom Clancy's End War
 
I think this could give NPC's a lot more life than anything before. It could make even generic NPC's fun to interact with. Like if you could give every NPC a small background for the AI to work and draw inspiration from you could end up with some star trek holodeck level of interactivity. Not only that, there wouldn't be any more need for translation. They AI could do that in real time. ChatGPT is already very good at this.
 
The issue i see with this is continuity. Will the AI remember any of the shit it said before?
