Fallout: Nuka Break - Tales from the Wasteland KS launched

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
Wayside Creations has launched a Kickstarter for a new Nuka Break prequel side story titled "Tales from the Wasteland" that focuses on the character of the "ranger" (the protagonist of the short Red Star). The funding goal is a perfectly reachable $20,000 (stretch goals are apparently planned to, but none has been announced so far) and the perks, as usual, include digital downloads, DVDs, movie posters and that kind of goodies. From the Kickstarter page:

Home, Home on the Ranger

We’ve hinted at his back story, but the time has come to explore the man behind the gasmask. This Tale from the Wasteland, set in the world of the critically-acclaimed series Fallout: Nuka Break, will follow the Ranger and his encounters with the Scorpion.

Spinning the Yarn

The Ranger’s story will be shot in a similar format to Wayside’s short Red Star. This wouldn’t be possible without fans who have been so loyal to the Nuka Break series. Because of that, we want to make this a true collaboration. We plan to poll backers for input that will be implemented during production. Above all, we believe in making content that out fans want to see.

Stretch Goals

The length and depth of the story will be determined by the success of the Kickstarter – with the story currently in development, nothing is set in stone yet. And yes: stretch goals mean unlocking new perks, too!

To give you an idea of what they're aiming for with this Kickstarter, I'll embed the original Red Star short below:

Just backed for $250 bucks. I wanted my damn DVD copy last time. Who gives a fuck about signatures, posters, and "private communities". Those those DVD commentaries look cool though.

been awhile since the last update came out. Its nice that they prefer to use puppet and miniature over CGI

Oh yeah, it has been a while. I wonder how long will it take before it comes out.

I think Nuka Break is basically how Fallout would be on the television excluding special effects.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I guess it just fit with the nature setting of core region. This is dystopian down to earth post apocalyptic setting, not a Sci-fi opera like bethesda setting suggest

it awesome, check it
