Favorite/Least Favorite Male/Female Companions

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
Since I don't know how to make a voting poll, I'll simply create this thread so that players of the series can discuss their favorite and least favorite companions of both male and female gender. List them by their gender and whether or not they are among your favorites or least favorites. And give your reasons for your choices.

Here's mine:

Favorite Male:

1.Cassidy - The best sharpshooter in fallout 2 and best npc in the game. Can use the best guns in the game and has high action points. Has some of the best combat taunts in the game.
2.Fawkes - A true powerhouse. The fact that his default weapon is already very powerful means you never have to give him anything better, making him very cheap.
3.Raul - A much better ghoul companion than Lenny. Has a very interesting life story and struggles with identity issues because of his old age. The fact that he calls you boss reminds you of Vic from Fallout 2. Maintenance perks are great for slowing weapon decay.

Least Favorite Male:

1.Ian - Let's face it, the fact that he shoots you by accident more often than he does the enemies can be quite annoying!
2.Goris - The thought of having a deathclaw companion sounds awesome, but the fact that he can't equip weapon or armor really hampers his effectiveness and survivability. Funny combat taunts though!
3.Marcus - Even if he can equip some powerful weapons, some of them tend to tear you and your other companions up. He can't equip armor and you can't get into Vault City with him in your party...unless you become captain of the gaurd.

Favorite Female:

1.Veronica - I've recruited her more times than any other npc in new vegas. Has an interesting life story, undergoes a major crisis, is at a crossroads in life, and is the best defense for longe range combat characters. Partnering with her while allying yourself with NCR is proof that the Brotherhood and NCR can co-exist and work together for the greater good.
2.Cass - Cassidy's daughter. She also is quite similar to her father in many ways such as her hatred of slavers, anti-drug heart, and kick ass attitude!
3.Star Paladin Cross - The first truly good female recruitable npc in the series. The fact that she already comes with a suit of power armor means you never have to give her anything better to wear.

Least Favorite Female:

1.Katja - The first female companion in the series is also the weakest permanent companion in the first game. Low health and poor weapon choices further diminish her value.
2.Miria - Oh sure, you can marry her and experience the humour of a shotgun wedding, but other than that, the worst companion in the game.
3.Lily - I just tend to recruit her for the first part of Guess Who I Saw Today and then have her help Dr Henry afterward. Maybe if I play a true stealth build and get more experience with her, I may value her more.

IMHO, Both the Least Favorite male and female should be all companions in FO3, they are absolutely boring

Favorite male: Sulik. I love watch him destroying everything in his path with the mega power fist.

Favorite female: I really would like to choose Veronica here. But I am voting not only for personality, but also for utility. She is a disgrace in combat, never engages with the enemy. Therefore, I pick Rose Cassidy.

=========================================

Least Favorite Male: Fawkes. I just do not see any reason for this game to have an indestructible companion. I've seen him alone killing 3 deathclaws, ffs.

Least Favorite Female: Lily. I like her personality, and her perk is very good. There are two reasons why I chose her. First is that she gets into my shooting line all the time. But the main problem is the sound of her steps. Few things take me from the serious like that sound.

Fallout 1:
Favorite - Tycho
Least favorite - Dogmeat

Fallout 2:
Favorite - Marcus
Least Favorite - Maria/Davin

Fallout 3:
Favorite - Charon
Least Favorite - Star Paladin Cross

Fallout 4:
Tolerable - Codsworth
The rest are too annoying to play the game with

That's my list, and I don't think narrowing criteria should include male/female prerequisites. Since the basis of the selection is how the player interacts and uses them in game.
