I am going to give you folks a warning because I am getting tired of this.

This board is becoming a bit too flame happy.

There are a couple of rules.

(1) don't disrespect each other
(2) don't spam
(3) if you got nothing to say, shut the fuck up.

If you are unfamiliar with our rules, take a second look.

Chill out or go elsewhere. And if you can't chill out, then you won't be allowed back in.

I don't want to ban people, but if you can't behave yourselves, this is not the place to learn manners.

If a moderator gives you a warning, mind it. Three strikes and you are out

Clear?
 
I think you might be over-reacting a bit mebbe. If all the users on a forum decide to do something, why should a mod moderate them into doing something else?

Don't turn into a nazi just because some of us are talking shit? If you ban pooperscooper I'll be wailing on a violin deep into the night.
 
Meg, you know I enjoy your posts, and I enjoy a lot of the posters here.

But when things become focused on flaming and not the content or subject matter of the thread, than the board becomes just a chain of insults.

Now I don't mind things getting a bit offensive. But I do mind things getting personal.

This is a community. We may not always agree and we might not even always like each other. But we will comply with the rules of the board.

The rules are clear. No spamming, No disrespect. I should add no trolling.

Play by the rules because, honestly, I hate to have to ban. But the rules are clear and they will be respected.

If that's being a Nazi, so be it.
 
So...Should we reserve our flames in other threads, and centralize them here? I think that would be kind of nice..A bunch of rude, crude, cruel, and vile remarks all in one thread. That would make for entertaining reading as well as a nice place to look for those one-liner insults sometimes necessary on other boards or in the real world.

Deal?

I would prefer if the rude, crude, cruel and vile personal attacks were not made at all.

That said, I would imagine a clever person would be smart enough that they wouldn't have to resort to personal insults.

Fact is and fact remains that you have to follow the rules. You can be edgy and funny easily without resorting to direct insults if you have the brain/humour for it, like eom, Kilus and megatron.

If you do not, and if somehow you're confused to think that somehow flaming means you're making a "rougher community", then you have no place here. Don't confuse mindless flaming with having personality or being edgy, this is not FlameChamps and nobody here will stand for it.
