v1.0 multiple-NPC bug...reasons NOT to use it?

Does anyone know of compelling reasons *not* to play Fallout v1.0 and exploit the multiple-NPC bug?

"Compelling" as in, "error or crash-causing"...

Can a 1.0 game with multiple NPC clones be played reliably and without incident?
