Game Crashes When The Door Opens To Salvatore's Room Fallout 2

I'm not sure if this is related to any mod work, but I am using Killap's RP and other things that shouldn't be related to this issue, but I decided to post this here, since this is the forum I'm most familiar with and possible place to figure this out.

I just got to Salvatore's Bar in the game and when I went into Salvatore's room on the 2nd floor, I did go through the door without any issue, but when I went to leave and open the door, the game crashed, then crashed every time after reloading, even reloading from a previous save (I typically save a different slot for different areas of a map I go to.) I've never had this happen to me in my entire history of playing this game, mods or not. I've had this happen with other things, but managed to resolve them, sometimes with a reload of the game. Anyone have any idea why this would happen and a possible solution to fix this? I'm assuming it could be some script issue (typically that's the problem from the past,) or the map itself (probably not, since wouldn't that just crash the game as soon as you enter the map area?)

Thanks for any help with this issue.

Cheers,
CPL

Update: I managed to fix the issue after removing the related script files for that door and Mason so it was the default files, then trying an another copy of those files from an old DATA file folder I had saved (I do this as backup.) Well, the game still crashed from those attempts (I was still using the same two saves, though) so then I decided to try it from a save before I entered the map where that it (New Reno 2nd Street.) I went straight to Salvatore's (before I went to everywhere else on that map, first) and the door didn't crash the game. So, I tried it again with saves from that map (Golden Globe, Jungle Gym, Shark Club) and all of them worked, so I just used the last save before I went to Salvatore's and continued the game from there.

I don't know what happened, but I seemed to have fixed the issue. It's still strange how it did that to begin with, although I did notice the door shut on it's own when I played it and crashed, and it didn't stay open when it didn't crash. Maybe that has something to do with the script file for the door? I also swapped out Mason's file, just in case that was a culprit. Probably not, though. Maybe the modders around here that know all about the script files have some insight to that. I do remember correcting issues before with crashes by swapping out those files.

Cheers,
