Getting to Myron in Stables (near New Reno)??

Ok, another dilemma. This is the Stables, the place you find doing the first job for Jesus Mordino. I got the "researchers pass" by talking to the bold female scientist. She said that with this "pass" I could go speak to Myron (the mainman downstairs). I can climb down the ladder to the area where Myron is, but everytime I open the door where his guards are, they start shooting me.

So how can I go talk to him?
 
Have you tried talking to the guards to show them the pass before opening the door? To be honest, the only time I got Myron, I just killed the two guards (which didn't make anyone else hostile :P). But I would assume that you have to talk with the door guards before going in.
 
Yes, but the guards are behind that door. So I can´t talk to them before opening the door, which makes them hostile.
 
I killed the two guards and solved the problem :) Myron wasnt hostile.

Is there any point of taking Myron with you?

Very strange. Those guards were in front of Myron's closed door - just talk with one of them and show the badge to him (through the dialog option). Hm, maybe you're "made man" for other family - in that cause, the guards may be hostile.
