happy ending in Broken hills?

I've been wondering. yes, it's true.

I have found the missing people, informed that guy about his wife murder and given the letter to Marcus. But at the ending scenes, Broken Hills does not have a happy ending.

Now lately I have spoken with that wrestling-mutie and confronted him or something. [result: 1000xp and the mutie goes to jail] <--but havent completed the game so don't know about the ending.

I have also tried refinying that piece of Ore (and I have given it to the town of Broken Hills). Does that give BH a happy ending :?:


The reason I ask is that after I have completed the game, I want to have only *happy endings*....right..



So, is there a resolution to give Broken Hills a happy ending?

To get the best (but not to good at all) ending you must put the mutant haters in jail. To do this you must (from what I remember) break Manson and Franc out of jail first and talk to Jacob. He'll give you a quest to blow the mine's air purifier. Now go and tell about this to Marcus.
 
To put the mutant haters in prison, i didn't have to break Manson and the other guy out of prison. I just wen't and talked to the Jacob is it? He told me about the conspiricy against the mutants. I think if you go along with it for a while he tells you the plans and so on and then i gave him in to Marcus.

Not sure if you need a higher speech to do it this way, I have a preety high speech character.
 
Ehm, if I remember right, you can go underground (you know, to the ants) before you turn in those criminals and find a note on one of the dead people there confessing all the crimes, that'll solve it as wel..
