Holy crap, things get awesome *Vegas spoilers*

I should set a custom tit
I just had a WOW feeling, after Benny took off with the chip. It's like the whole game was building up to this and now exploded. I'm expecting the ending to be lots of fun now.

Or maybe it's just that they introduced the best character in the game, by far. This made me chuckle:

Eh, I just shot Benny at his apartment... I think I made things much easier for me.

I killed Benny much much later, even though I partly thought about *not* killing him at all, but help instead. But I wasn't able to handle it with my character.

And yes, the ending is pretty good, imo. I finished the game approx one hour ago and it was nice. I still have a shitload of open quests, but I finally wanted to continue with the main quest.

Looks like there is not everything covered in the ending slideshow and I have no clue if it has to be like this or if there are some bugs in it. I was confused in at least one point.

Could you spoiler what do you mean by "not everything"? There could be those open quests, if you want some minor faction to show up in the ending you should either destroy it or finish its questline.

Ok, spoiler ahead. If one hasn't finished the game yet, don't click on it. Really.

[spoiler:7f3b6dec0d]The ghouls from Repconn didn't showed up. I thought I might hear in the end how their rockets crashed somewhere else and how they died or whatever. Anything to make this quest not look as stupid as it is (space flying ghouls).

Also I got a slide show about Arcade Gannon, Lily, Cass, Raul, Rex and ED-E, but nothing about Boone and Veronica. This is especially dumb, because I was traveling with Boone a long time -- ok, I didn't finished his personal quest (it didn't showed up), but then again, I didn't took Raul with me a single time. Since I visited Black Mountain, he is sitting in his small room.

Also it was said that Lily traveled with me to whatever place, which is what I think is a bug, because I haven't done shit with Lily as well. I have done the stealth boy quest, but that was all. Didn't took her further than Jacobstown.

Yeh, this is all I remember right now, but there was some things more.

Anyway, the ending slideshow was still detailed and better than Fallout 3. What I didn't really liked was this "every character speaks his endline"-thingy, as I had to think about Mad Max 3 with the children in the cave while this...[/spoiler:7f3b6dec0d]

Ok, here're my answers. Hard spoilers for those who didn't finish the game:
[spoiler:d01c5b80d3]
- With Boone, you should either complete or fail his quest to get him in the credits. If the quest was not started/finished, Boone never appears.

- To get endids for Veronica you should at least bring her to the bunker and start her side quest "I Could Make You Care".

- The Lily part is okay, it has a lot of options based on your choices.

- According to the Guide, ghouls are not in any ending at all... which is weird.

So yeah, there're some oversights in the script, but either way it's quite good.

I haven't beaten the game yet, so I didn't click any of those spoiler tags, but I have noticed one disjointed main quest script:

[spoiler:1552055e25]I killed Benny AND I killed Caesar (without ever having met or talked to him - I walked in and unloaded my gun into his face), then I took the platinum chip to Caesar's secret bunker as per Benny's robot's instructions. When I walked into the bunker, there was a Mr. House terminal in there, and he goes:

"Well, I'm surprised to see you, but this is where I wanted you to go eventually anyway...blah blah blah...blah blah blah...Caesar must have searched you and took the chip, then gave you the chip back...there was something in this bunker he obviously wanted you to destroy...etc etc"

Which obviously isn't anything that actually happened to me.
[/spoiler:1552055e25]

House doesn't know what you have done. It's what he assumes that you have done. If it's true or not, doesn't matter.

[spoiler:9126a0355a]The Ghouls were mentioned in the ending for me, it says some of them returned to Novac to help rebuild after the Legion assault.[/spoiler:9126a0355a]

Eh, I just shot Benny at his apartment... I think I made things much easier for me.

Well, my character is speech-impaired so... I feel like that'd be more boring. Also, if you do kill him, what happens? Do you ever get to meet Yes-Man? Because if you don't it seems like you miss out on the option of having Vegas all to yourself.

You can meet him always, under every circumstances, as far as I can see it.

Actually you have to, since you still need him for the my-vegas walkthrough.

Also, since you've met the "y" person, did you notice a
[spoiler:ac5f85e39c]door behind the hidden corridor? I've unlocked it using cheats because I spent a lot of time looking for a key, I was just wondering what's inside, and there's a part of vault (21 I think) which contains NOTHING but another key-locked door which leads to nowhere... What was that? Some remained stuff which devs wanted to use but didn't use?[/spoiler:ac5f85e39c]

The ghouls [spoiler:7f205d1bb7]came up for me in the ending - I made that human sabotage the rockets, and in the slides it said that Novac rejoiced at the destruction of the ghouls, but that radiation leaked out of the debris and eventually made the town unlivable.[/spoiler:7f205d1bb7]

Boone [spoiler:7f205d1bb7]showed up for me too as I had finished his quest. I was kinda disappointed though because I had started out the game supporting NCR, but ultimately went the Wild Card route and kicked them out of Nevada (and got Yes Man to throw General Oliver off the dam :)), but sadly even with vilified NCR rep there wasn't too much of an "appalled by the courier's actions, Boone left in disgust to pick up the pieces of what was once formerly his army, etc" ending[/spoiler:7f205d1bb7]

Spoiler for Benny

[spoiler:fd36335332]as long as you have a lockpick of 50 you can break into his room at the Tops and meet Yes Man.

Or you can head to Boulder City and meet the Khans that helped kill you. Talk first with them and they'll give you Benny's lighter he left
when he killed one of them. Use this as proof when you talk with Swank at the front desk of The Tops to show that Benny is running a scam on Mr House and he sets up Benny, by getting him to go to his room with the door unlocked. Tell Swank that yo' have to take Benny out. Swank even gives you all your guns back to do the job right.

Just don't approach Benny when he's at The Tops. Go past him till you set him up, then he's easy pickings without chasing him around Nevada

There ya go. Benny on a silver platter ^.^[/spoiler:fd36335332]

Yeah. But not NEARLY as satisfying as putting the bastard up on a cross.

I actually freed him because I was hoping he would show up again later in the game... no luck so far.

If you're female...

[spoiler:a61c5b716f]You get the option to seduce him (via some appropiately fucked up dialogue) and after you bed him, you get the option to kill him in his sleep.[/spoiler:a61c5b716f]
