Idiocy at its finest.

Today, I am going to show extreme levels of human stupidityto everyone here. This is not about YouTube (though it is known for havingintellectually handicapped people, and I will also post some YouTube links just to show you all the comments that were posted on those videos), this is about the close-minded behavior you would expect from someone whose so stupid and ignorant that every statement they make logically makes zero sense and continue to spout irrational nonsense because they have never considered the fact thatmen pretty much wore almost every piece of clothing, that is considered feminine attire by today's standards, throughout human history.

I stumbled across a few videos on YouTube about rappers and hip hop artistssuch as Young Thug wearing skirts and dresses, and I scrolled through the comment sections to be humored by unreadable posts, but I just could not laugh. If anything, I feel bad for men out there who enjoys wearing female clothing, not because of some terrible rapper, but because they want to be in touch withtheir feminine side or they just want to feel comfortable. Just look at thecomment sections of these two videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE-jx9QK0H8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJk0S2wby5E&spfreload=10.

Not that I pity Young Thug, because rather or not he crossdresses, he is still just a clown, just like most mainstream rappers are. What triggered my anger, however, is that humans are stupid enough to believe this is some sort of goal to "emasculate boys and men". Total bullshit. This generation is not blinded enough to follow some non-existent "black males in skirts" tread that is clearly not even heard of by the masses (many listeners and fans ofYoung Thug do not even know that he wears dresses, for God's sake). Even ifthese mediocre rappers were putting a tiny portion of effort in trying to makeblack males, or males in general, feminized, they would still be considered "faggots" for wearing girly clothing, anyway.

It baffles my fucking mind that people actually think a man wearing any apparel that is considered for females is disgusting or sickening. You brainless, stupid, fucking, degenerate assclowns. Why is it, in most cases, women who dress similar to men are unique, cool, handsome, but when it is vice versa, a man will face ridicule, scorn, disgust, and even death threats and violent behavior? Do you shitheads really think men crossdress just so they can be labeled as fools, criminals, and pedophiles? Do you honestly think they like being treated like dirt? No, a lot of men that crossdress to express themselves, get in touch with their feminine side, to feel comfortable, to not be restricted to certain categories of clothing, not for petty reasons like beauty and attraction. There is nothing disgusting about wearing clothes of the opposite sex, and there is nothing wrong with it. Noramlity is completely subjective, what I might find odd and unusual might not apply to someone else. What you might find odd and unusual might be considered okay for another individual. I am sick of people getting treated like filth when they have done no harm and did not intended to offend anyone.

The obvious repeat formatting errors and the difference in native font leads me to suspect that this was a paste job, correct? Excessive vulgarity notwithstanding, I didn't necessarily have an issue with the comments stated, but I find it mildly inappropriate to paste without citation. Even if it's something you said elsewhere, quoting yourself is appropriate.

Small qualms from me, that's all.

Not all of it, but it just had to be pasted because one of my browsers kept freezing, so I had to copy the three paragraphs on Microsoft Word 2007, then paste them here while using a faster browser.

Have to agree with you there, mostly. While I find the conventional canon of beauty more appealing, I'm not really going to say that people venturing outside their assigned gender roles disgust me. Hey, whatever floats your boat.

Me, I like a lot of the gendered aspects of culture and to be honest, I'd kind of miss them if they were to go.

This thread is now about men wearing dresses.

There's plenty wrong with dressing or wanting to look like the opposite sex. Sure, you claim it's 'expressing yourself' - if you meet a cerebral palsy kid who randomly screams, he's also expressing himself. Of course, it doesn't warrant an attack, but you say 'It's totally normal' - no, it's not.

This Young Thug, though, seems like a clown. His dresses aren't 'for touching with his feminine side', it's for attention, and in this case, he deserves every comment he gets.

Also, Vats before this turns into another clusterfuck

I feel like 'point and laugh/hate' threads are kind of pointless, or self-fellating? Sorry if I come off harshly, I don't mean it in a harsh way. But what do we learn here except that bigots and idiots exist in youtube comments?

But who HERE doesn't know to treat transgender people just the same as any other person?

I mean, Alec left, remember?

Oh . .

Wait.

Bro, I'm sure you apply the tried and true 'different strokes for different folks' philosophy liberally in other assessments, as we all do, but here it's somehow not applicable? It's ONE dress. If you have some gender identity disorder based belief, you might have an argument in a certain strain of logic. But how can you come in here and say a man wearing a dress is abnormal, with the argument merely being: "It's not normal."

There may be wisdom in what you speak, but pre-emptive moderation is the devil's work. All aboard the toboggan! (Or not. Hopefully.)

There's plenty wrong with dressing or wanting to look like the opposite sex.

See, the thing is... I have never heard any objection raised to flouting gender norms that doesn't break down into arbitrary ridiculousness when you scratch the surface. Are we to stop women from cutting their hair short and wearing pants? What about guys with long hair? What do we do about those troublesome skirt-wearing Scotsmen? Are there certain colors we're supposed to be reserving to certain genders? It's all so stuffy and atavistic. And who says a man who likes dresses or makeup or anything of the sort wants to look like the opposite sex (or for that matter, that a woman dressing "manly" wants to look like a man, though there really aren't many "manly" clothes that are outright taboo for women these days)? Maybe... he wants to look like a man... who's comfortable in a dress. If other people have hang-ups about it, what makes that his problem?

In the end it all devolves upon the argument of "not being normal," where "normal" is just a theoretical mean (and almost without fail, one that whoever's making the argument identifies with). All "not normal" means is that something's not engaged in by a plurality of the population. Dressing like a biker isn't normal, either. Or a greaser. Or a metalhead. Or going around in a vest and slacks. Or a trillby and a trenchcoat. Anything intolerable about those? What of the abnormality, both statistical and social, of posting on a webforum nominally devoted to a fifteen-year-old video game?

Basing that strong an objection to something on the grounds of its "not being normal" is literally arguing that all people have a duty to submit themselves to the will of the majority. Of course it's not normal. Something becomes normal when enough people have started doing it for the novelty to wear off, and that obviously just hasn't happened yet. Times and standards change constantly, and no one in human history has yet managed to stop the shift.

People can dress however they like, and I have the full right to say they look silly. The point stands that men in dresses look silly, and not that great either.

All of that is my opinion of course, but I'd say most people agree that dresses aren't so suiting to the male figure and body.

I agree it tends not to be a flattering look, but we've also got an entire lifetime of lived conditioning to make it strange to our eyes and to give us certain expectations about what a dress is meant to accentuate on the wearer. Future generations may not have that baggage. There's also the fact that "men's dresses" don't really exist yet as far as I know, so they're generally not cut for masculine figures, which I'm sure contributes to the issue and would probably change if dresses-as-unisex-fashion began to come into vogue.

Edit: Please don't take the rapid-succession responses as shouting you down. This just happens to be a long, uneventful coffee break.

There is wisdom, because it's not fair that morons get to vomit up garbage to get self-esteem points on social media like the inbred, zombie-brained drones they are, and If I call for them to either grow up or be suspect in a massive eugenics program involving ex-nazi scientists and blow-torches, I'll get a pretentious finger wag from the other Moderators.

The older I grow, the more patience I have. Also, I realize that patience comes from not taking the time to bend over backwards for stupidity.

Alright then, elaborate what is wrong with dressing or wanting to look like the opposite sex. Not that you, or anyone else can actual give valid reasons why it is wrong, though. A kid randomly screaming has nothing to do with "expressing yourself", it is a distraction. If the kid actually had a reason to scream, however (whether it is having fun, being scared, etc), then I would not mind. Stop acting as if you know what is and is not normal. Normality is completely subjective.

Did you even read what I typed on my keyboard? I was not referring to him when I talked about men wanting to get in touch with their feminine side, nor did I say anything was normal. It is obviously to anyone that watched the video knew he did it for attention. He might deserved to be ridiculed, but do you honestly think he deserved death threats and other violent behavior towards him?

Some actually look better in dresses than women, and that is saying something.

There are 7 billion people in the world, I do not think most people would agree with you. The large majority of males have a masculine body and figure, but anatomically, it just makes more sense to wear a dress or a skirt in hot temperatures.

What is normal? And don't give me this "... what the majority does" bullshit.

A kid screaming is 'expressing yourself'. Just like a child that still hasn't learned to talk, except this one in particular has a mental disorder that stops him from developing normally. Yeah, it's pitiful, but it's also not normal. And that's no different from a man who feels like expressing himself through wearing tight feminine dresses.

But at least we agree that he deserves ridicule for acting like a clown. I never claimed he should be beaten or assaulted.

I think everyone deserves ridicule equally.

I have just masturbated, so I'm not as emotionally reactive to this thread.

And they say that sex cults serve no purpose. Phah!

That is ridiculous. If a kid has a mental disorder that stops him/her from developing as a regular human child, and has not learned to talk yet, and you and I both know there is something wrong with him, then that is clearly different from a man expressing his feminine side through wearing dresses. Children do not just magically chose rather or not they want to have a mental disability that incapacitates their ability to verbally communicate with other living organisms. A fully grown man can choose what they wear, rather it be a tight dress or trousers. Both of those are not normal. Nothing is. So it is pointless using the word.

You literally typed, "he deserves every comment he gets". So it was reasonable for me to believed that you claimed he should be beaten and/or assaulted, because he did receive those comments.

Why should I care about others people's clothes? If you feel yourself comfortable in skirt, fine! Just make sure your junk is not hanging out, that would be gross and insulting. Besides, the first clothes were unisex. When our predecessors have hunted their prey, I'm pretty sure they've rolled the hides around their filthy bodies men and women alike.
