So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs

So, better create such a thread, eh? I was one of the lucky guys to play it earlier on the Xbox (steam still didn't unlock it?) and managed to play through it already. Now, I am freshly finished and don't really know what to say. I won't post any spoilers, so you can read it.
The start is really good. The NPC you talk to have long dialog trees, interesting things to say and there is 'aplenty of stat and skillchecks in. The arrival in Zion is a bit... anticlimatic? But I could stomach it. The atmosphere of the Park is really spot on, everything looks good to me, sounds good, the rain is now a welcome new thing, some music was missing (it was pretty quiet all the time) and I hoped to hear the Arroyo Theme from FO2 (It's not in
). Enemies are very tough, that was a plus. There are some stories to read on old computers (diaries) which were FUCKING GOOD! I really enjoyed reading that. But... The map design is horrible.. While the canyons look good in the first place, you have to do so much hiking, so much searching for the correct rock to jump on, etc. The map looks very nice and atmospheric, but the gameplay to find stuff is horrible imo.
It also feels very.. rushed? Especially the end.. You are doing a couple of quests, it feels like everything slowly comes together, but suddenly, you got to make a decision (Choice&Consequences) out of nowhere on a very inappropriate moment. Then the end was a total joke in my eyes, it is horribly stretched and filled with high level enemies to lengthen the playtime. Suddenly, at some point no one really has anything much to say, no good writing and lengthy dialogs like we love Obsidian for. Everything, again, was so anticlimatic. I expected more from the NPC aswell. I... I don't know, I will replay it tomorrow again. I hope your playthroughs were more enjoyable then mine..
