In the future, will Bethesda be capable to...

Empty09

Still Mildly Glowing
...make a fallout game where you don't start in a vault?

...stop creating stupid and unneeded reasons for the Super Mutants to exist? (except west coast few remnants but not in DC ffs)
- Even the Brotherhood of Steel should fall into that category IMO. Both BOS and SM have long served their purposes and should not be featured like they were.

...realize it would be better to leave the job to Obsidian like they did with New Vegas?

...Create new, logical and interesting factions/locations?

I've noticed they that learned a thing or two since FO3. Such as showing 'some' crops to prove that the people (of diamond city) do cultivate some land in order to exist. Of course, they saw Obsidian doing it correctly in the first place but...meh.

...understand what an RPG is?
- Yes, this part is very debatable but judging by the course FO1/FO2 started on and they do know what that course is since they've bought an IP and decided to make new RPGs with it.

In FO3, at least, you can do some quests that influence the future of some locations. (Of course, it's faaar away from New Vegas/FO1/FO2)
In FO4, from what I've seen, the ending only relates to what faction you've destroyed.

No. Between their fanboys and their marketing department they very likely are in a complete echo-chamber regarding the success of Fallout 4. They probably think it's the deepest game ever made.

I just wouldn't mind some big title games that had the option to turn off the "shall we assume you are a retard" mode.

Bethesda is a pain for this. I wouldn't tolerate it in real life, nor do I tolerate in video games. My guess is that they will never be able to achieve this.

I find it funny you claim that "they saw obsidian do it" in regards to crops, when they had been showing crops in every game they made including, and before, Morrowind.

The only game they didn't show farms was Fallout 3, because that was kind of a central plot point in the game.

but you know, revisionist history always seems to trump actual facts in certain places.

Cool another Bethesda hating clown.

Welcome to what actual good games are kiddo. Either realize how lucky this series is to be revived by truely capable hands or join the ranks of the unintelligent whining irrelevants that the rest of the gaming communities ignores/ridicules.

I thought I was talking about FO3/FO4/FutureFallouts on a Fallout forum? And regarding your reply "the only game they didn't show farms is fallout 3"...Fallout 3 is the only other fallout game they made, lol?

Don't try to reason with it. It has the same logic as the characters in Fallout 4. Just respond with "Yes" "No" "Maybe" "Sarcastic"

The point was that your implication that the only reason Fallout 4 had farms was because they saw Obsidian do it in New Vegas is false because they have always shown farm in thier games, except in the one game whose central premise was a lack of clean water preventing farming.

I would think that would be obvious, but radiation seems to have rotted your ghoul brain.

Calls people who enjoy games too challenging for you unintelligent. Then raves about a game that holds your hand every single step of the way claiming it's the greatest thing in the world. If you enjoy feeling superior you will probably have more fun playing fallout 4 slaying thousands of NPCs and being rewarded every few minutes than you will flinging poop on the internet.

If the water is too dirty to grow food then it would probably be far too dangerous for people.

It is, and you see several people complaining that drinking only dirty water is bad for them.

That is why places like Megaton, Rivet City, and Tenpenny Tower, all built water purification machines for their towns, and people mention having small scale water purifiers that can clean a glass or two of water a day. People wo do drink dirty water only do so when they have too, and take some rad-away after so the radiation doesn't build up and harm them.

Can your healthy human brain tell me what the people of the Wasteland did in order to populate and reproduce from 2077 until 2277 with a "lack of clean water preventing farming"? I don't even want to know the answer actually...

You see about 3 dying hobos complain about it.

They did what is shown in-game. They built water purification machines so they could make just enough water to live day to day, and survived on a diet mostly consisting of animal meat, such as yao guai, mirelurk, mole rat, radroach, iguana, squirrel, and brahmin, while eating the various kind of mutfruit, and some preserved pre-war food when absolutely needed.

They also had brahmin milk to drink, which supposedly had anti-radiation elements in it.

This is odd because there are way more raiders in this game than civilized people yet they do great without water. They can even style their hair and fashion their own styles while making extensive use of ammunition etc. All without this precious water.

According to the game these raiders should be no better off than the hobos.

Who says they go without water? As mentioned, people do build smaller scale water purifier machines.

So if it's so easy to build purifier machines what is the water problem you keep saying?

If you ask me the hobos should have united to make their gang (is 3 enough for a gang?) and then make a water purifier. Then they wouldn't make the wasteland so dirty.
