I already provided feedback on this earlier. Like I mentioned, I think the $50 tier is great, and the $100 tier should get a ton of people in, esp including those novellas.

I think the $30 tier could've been a bit more of a digital CE. A soundtrack isn't a lot to draw people in.

Also, the $15 being the basic tier might surprise some people. I kind of expected more as well, but as Fargo explained it to me, it *JUST* worked that way with DF, no reason to mess with it.

Awesome stuff. I'd give at least $100, that is, if it was in my power to do so. I'll see what I can do.

$50 for sure without even thinking about it.

I'd love to donate $100 but I'm not sure I can afford it. I'm also interested in that novella. I'm a big fan of Stackpole's X-Wing books.

I hope they reconsider this. IMO every paying customer should get the complete version of the game. Superficial content like the statue is pretty cool but cutting content is not the way to go.

Yeah. Lot of negative feedback immediately. I'm talking to Fargo about it too, don't think it's a great idea either. They might well reconsider it.

Wondering and asking about DRM, too.

Wanted to go with $100 first, but now I am thinking about going up to $250. Sounds pretty fancy.

I can understand the negative responses to the skill stuff. I don't like it either.

Might be able to scratch together $100, but the postage for that would probably cost half as much as the pledge itself.

Dammit, I would like to get one of the more expensive editions but I don't have the money for it.

I honestly don't need a NPC or a Shrine in the game dedicated to me but I would like to have a nice collector's edition with the manual and novella and a digital download.

Nice tiers. Wish I had enough disposable income to throw some major fliff($1000+) at it. If all the top tiers were filled, they'd need to create 273 uniquely named generic NPCs.
"You get a unique name! AND YOU GET UNIQUE NAME!"
They've got my hundie, though.

not really fond of all this altogether, to be honest. I like the idea of having a few rewards for those who donate a certain amount of money. for example, I love that you get an old-school boxed version of the game if you give $50, with a limited edition at higher amounts. and, of course, a really tasty treat if you're rich and donate some serious dough.

BUT, all these little trinkets and extras will cost them money in return. money I'd rather see spent on the game itself. also, it'd be nice to keep the thinking as far away as possible from "I'll donate as little as possible for as big a reward as possible". with all these incrementing levels of reward, it's easy to look for at what level you think the donation is reasonable in accordance to what extra stuff you get. might not be a bad thing, but at the same time it kinda draws attention away from the whole "donate what you feel a good game is worth to you" approach.

But...that's not really the idea of Kickstarter.

You can donate more and ask for a lower-tier reward if you want all the money to go into development.

The cost of the extra incentives is going to be outweighed by the extra money they'll receive. It's pretty much risk free on their end, because they'll already have the exact numbers for manufacturing. I'm fine with somebody's time being spent dealing with that stuff, since it should more than pay for itself, by a long shot.

I also gave my feedback on the wasteland 2 forum.
15 for the game it's really good, got 0 problem with that and it's way enough IMO.
I don't care about naming NPC, even weapon or location after someone.
Don't care too about staue or shrine thing.
But the special skill/weapon....make me wonder if i share the same mood than BF, it feels so wrong it's worrying for the game.
Harm is done anyway.

Ah jeez. There goes $100 of my money.

P.S. you Kickstarter n00blets are cracking me up. So behind the curve its embarrassing.

Like I said in the official forum, I don't mind the extra skill and weapon if they're not something game-breaking but e.g. a largely useless skill like toaster repair added for nostalgia factor.

Hmm...

I'mma pledge a cool hundo on this shiznit.

I gots the bread to be throwing down.

Also, I'll finally get my name in the credits roll of a game.

My name is in the credits of Lionheart, although given how the game turned out to be it's not much of a thing to brag about. :)

An NPC would be fucking cool...

Anyway, kinda torn over the $100 and $250 option. Gonna have to work some overtime!
