Jericho References

Heading for Lost Vegas
I think F3 will need some mandatory (sorry, man. rum & Coke hurts my typing skills. No, I am not drinking Sam Adams.) Jericho references. Something with Jennings & Rall would be funny.

Why? It's pretty clear that Bethsoft won't be using it as reference points, and (sorry Jericho fans!) the show just doesn't have the same cultural touchstone status as the reference that even managed to ooze in to Fallout 3. So far I've seen Mad Max (a bit too much, really), some steampunk, way too much Oblivion, and I doubt that at this late in the development stage that Bethsoft would decide to make a bunch of references that only a few thousand people would get (sorry again Jericho fans- there just aren't that many of you.)

Jericho doesn't really have anything in common with Fallout other than being post-apocalyptic, you know.

Also, putting in cultural references for the sake of cultural references is silly.

Yep, but I wouldn't put it past Bethesda to sneak some in.

I'm actually hoping they do since a couple of buddies and I are having a Fallout 3 dead pool. If there's any Transformers references I'm going to make $20 bucks.

If Jericho had reached the popularity or cult status of a show like Monty Python, then I would have expected something, even a character mentioning a town near Denver would do. But, I can't see it happening.

Greens

Perhaps a quick reference to the brothers Green, or here lies Johnston Green. Every scene with papa Green in it I expected Gerald McRaney to deliver the line,"You're a Green goddamnit!"
Maybe something with two brothers named Jake and Eric, or one looking for the other.
Headstones that say, "Cancelled before their time". LOL.
