Legion assassins don't show up anymore

First time out of the vault
When I killed some Legionaries, assassins appeared instantly and kept hunting me.

Since I met Caesar for platinum chip, assassins were disappeard.

But I didn't complete caesar's quests.
After I killed him, I and Boone wiped whole legion areas including the Fort.

Now I'm killing and killing a lot of legionaries but no assassins come after me. I know where they appear so I traveled nearly all around the map waiting for them.

They just disappeared, Where they've gone? My reputation is 'vilified'.

How can I meet them? Is this bug?

I miss them, I enjoy make them fight with NCR or Merchants each other, then killing them was my fun.

PC, PS3, Xbox360 - Legionary assassins are better equipped with high-tier weapons and armor (e.g. centurion armor, super sledge or thermic lances) from the early game (levels 7-11) instead of the middle or end of the game. [verified]
Pc, Xbox360 - Legionary assassins may be carrying blocks of C-4 plastic explosive, but they never seem to be equipped with detonators, making the explosives useless (though highly lucrative for the player after they are defeated). [verified]
Xbox360 - Wearing NCR faction armor seems to prevent Legion assassins from appearing even if you have a Shunned or worse reputation with the Legion. Just taking off the armor or switching to another armor before entering areas where assassins normally spawn seems to fix this problem. This is because the faction armor sets all faction reputation to "neutral". [verified]
PS3 - After awhile the Legion Assassins may permanently disappear from the game no longer appearing in-game. [verified]

Yeah, it's a bug. By switching between neutral factions and normal get up might be able to cause a spawning point, have you done that?
 
Btw. some info from me.
I played FNV hor hundred of hours and have only 2 groups of assasinating me! Only 2 in my entire FNV carieer.

I always wondered, when people were talking about assasins spam. : p
 
Count yourself lucky. I usually have to be very careful not to piss off the legion or the game is nearly unplayable as the legion assassins constantly spawn and slaughter me and anyone else near by. Makes for some epic gameplay and giant battles.. but it gets tiring when everyone you meet gets their throats ripped out by legion assassins every few minutes
