Living remnants? *Possible spoiler inside*

First time out of the vault
Ok so So I got 100 lockpicking and got the door open for the Ruined Enclave Outpost... but why are they all dead? There's no notes or anything saying what happened, but all except for the officer and the scientists are wearing Advanced Power Armor so you would assume that someone with a lot of firepower took them out. Has anyone found any living Enclave members?


If anyone else finds the outpost and has a 100 science skill, open the containment chamber with the armor in the back room. The armor is called "Athena Power Armor" and it's by far the best I've found so far. Looks [censored]in' too.
 
you got power armor, so tell us:

1. does it need training?
2. does it carry it's own weight by givin lots or STR?
3. does it look as in FO2 or FO3?
 
1. Yes, unfortunately you still need PA training perk.
2. The Athena armor boosts your STR by 1. Haven't checked for other version.
3. Yes, the regular Enclave AP looks similar to the FO1/FO2 versions. Especially the helmet.

Although this is probably not what you're talking about, there appear to be several ex-Enclave throughout the wasteland, mostly from FO2. They are all connected by some quest, but I haven't figured it out yet.
 
What outpost is this? I'm kinda hunting for Enclave related stuff but the only place i found needed a passphrase. So much to do in new vegas and i'm a little impatient.
 
Did this guy make all this up as some sort of weird trolling? I'm pretty sure there's no such place.
 
I didn't found a enclave outpost with dead enclave soldiers. But I would say there is a possibilitie for one to be in the game, which then gives you the crappy Fallout 3 enclave armors.

Anyway, the outpost you have found, which needs a passphrase is related to another quest. (A pretty good one, imo)
 
[EDIT]Nevermind, I thought he meant the hidden bunker. I didn't see such "enclave" place.
 
He could be one of those guys that tell made up crazy stories about hidden Easter eggs, like the one about the DJ from FO3 talking in morse codes.

If he is, than this one is at least VERY believable.

I say its a hint to the Burning Man. Who else would be so badass to kill a bunch of power armored bastards by himself? :P
 
[spoiler:9106869a32]There is an enclave outpost in the game. It even has a vertibird. You can get the woman fom novac, doctor from jackobstown, arcade and someone els together for a reunion. I think they can even help you in he fight for the dam. [/spoiler:9106869a32]
