merging Cpt corpse cheating tool into MIB88 Megamod

Hello people,

I'm trying to get captain Corpse cheating tool working together with the megamod, however without any succes. I tried making it as the Patch000.dat. Also unpacking the files from the dat file and placing it in the right folders didn't help (also updated the script.list for example) and last but not least, I merged mod into the master file. the bug (in game cheating tool) just "does nothing" in game.

I also don't get any errors (well except when running it as patch000, but thats to be expected) I love this mod as it has the abillty the change appearances for NPC example. Anyone will to give me some advise?

edit:

here are the mods itself, I believe they are not hosted on NMA actually

I'm aware of Vad's editor, but the cheat device from Corpse aditional features I would like to use next to the Vad's Editor.

Oh, OK. What does it do, anyhow? I remember seeing something about it, but that was many years ago.

A copy from the readme file:

Some of the bug functions are:

Add to party: adds any NPC or item to your party, this can also be done during combat (bypasses the dialog screen) to add or remove any NPC from your party, the script will automatically recognise if the target NPC is in your party and will add or remove accordingly.
NOTE: If you add any hostile NPCs, they will fight on your side but will attack after the level has been cleared.

Remove from party: does just what it says.

Give armor and wield: creates a suit of Adv Power Armor MkII on target NPC and places it in the armor slot. (Useful for giving Marcus or Goris armor)
NOTE: Giving armor to non-party members (not specified in party.txt and party.h) works but they lose the armor bonuses when you exit maps.

Remove armor: causes target NPC to remove their armor.

Remove weapon: causes target NPC to put away any weapon wielded (good for recruited Non-party members).

Change NPC's appearance: does just what it says; if used on player, appearance will change but if you access inventory screen the player will return to its original state.

Create Item: lets you give target NPC or player, any item in the game. You will need a list of all item PIDs as you have to input the PID number to get the item you want.
NOTE: Some item PIDs at the start of the list (ie: power armor, flamethrower, rocket launcher, etc.) have been swapped in the game so the PID appearing next to their description in the pro_item.msg file does not correspond with the file PID.

Check resistances and thresholds: useful for checking NPCs resistances.

Destroy scenery or wall: destroys any scenery or walls blocking your way.

Heal Player or NPC: Heals all HPs and crippled limbs on target.

End of list

This mod needs more love :P

Wow, that's some pretty cool stuff there. The only thing I remember using from way back then was Falche, but that's been obsolete for a long time with the Restoration Project and all of that. I still have a copy of it on an old CD, amongst other odds and ends. I saved all kinds of stuff, including early versions of the Restoration Project from the beginning because I always liked to back up my files, just in case. Now I have an USB stick, which is way less of a pain in the ass to do.
