most used weapon

AaronHardy

First time out of the vault
in each of the games what is your most used weapon?

in Fallout 1 mine would have to be the turbo plasma rifle
fallout 2 would be the m72 gauss rifle
FOT:BOS would be the browning m2

fo1: alien blaster
fo2: power glowes
fot: i can't say since I played it once... unfortunatly... could do some better things instead of that

btw, I think the alien blaster is one of the best designed weapons in the game

fo1: Turbo plasma rifle, it was insanely powerfull
fo2: pulse rifle or gauss rifle. Never really stuck to one, finished the game with power gloves often enough as well, though rarely with a big gun
fot: never played it.

FO1: has to be the alien blaster. I did pass the game once with the .223 with a mad percent in small guns. Critical hits to the eyes work wonders.

FO2: Gauss rifle, i also used the sniper rifle a hell of a lot.

FOT: Hmmm, i dont know. The changes in enemy's made it difficult to stick to one weopon. For the mutants i used one gun, not quite sure what it was now and then for the robots i changed to a pulse rifle as this was more effective.

Fallout 1: Plasma rifle after I bought it from the gunrunners
Fallout 2: .223 pistol
Fallout Tactics: AK 47 - it lasted for so long and it was only the energy weapons that could cosistently beat it for damage.

Fallout 1: Alien Blaster, as people mentioned
Fallout 2: Bozar (Sorry...its so damn fun :D ). Although I usually had to switch to Guass Rifle for the Enclave.
FOT: I honestly don't remember any specific names. Besides, the game made you switch during the course of the game:

Raiders (Small Guns) > Mutants (Big Guns) > Robots (Energy Weapons)

So there wasn't a ton of choice there.

Fallout: Supersledge
Fallout 2: Supersledge

And that wraps up my favorite weapon in the Fallout games.
really? I played a lot with it... the funnies thing that happend was when I pushed a super mutant two screens away and a building stopped him! that was in necropolis, I had such a laugh... he was not killed though... don't know how :)

Fallout: Hunting rifle
Fallout 2: Hunting rifle

Sure, the .223 pistol is a better weapon using the same ammo, but I like the hunting rifle.

hapend to me to(only sulik did it in FO2)

anyway

FO1: turbo plasma

FO2: generaly shotguns, but usaly i take the tag-perk and tag energy wepons and use pulse rifle att the enclave

Since I have only been playing Fallout again for the past few days, my current weapons of choice are:

Primary: That pistol you get in the Hub for killing the raiders on that guy's farm (I forget what it's called)

Backup: Flamer/Minigun (Yes, I use those as backup)

I'm raising my energy weapons skill so I can use a plasma rifle.

This .223 pistol isn't ringing a bell...I don't think I ever used that commonly. Is that the one you get off of Gizmo's dead body?

no the farmer gives it to you, if you free his farm of raiders...

can't remember the farmers name but for some reason I can remember the name of his donkey :/ Pokey

Yay firepower.

Fallout 1: SMG to Shotgun to an Energy Gatling gun i cant quite remember.
Fallout 2: Pistol, to Laster Pistol, to Laser Rifle. then gatlers and such for the Enclave.
Fallout Tactics: Snipers and Shotguns. all the way to Vindicator, Power Glove, and a huge load of Energy weapons.

The ripper fallout 1 yes its the best i had just finished playing comandos and using Tiny to kill everyone with his knife and when i heard the sound of the ripper it was...

Guess i'll pick Bozar in #2 it didn't really even matter i had a car so weapons was the last thing i cared about at that point i think i was wonder more about getting real time combat games it was dragging me down all the waiting for the enemy to take there turns i get very impatient even with comandos i was like telling the germans to hurry up and look the other way then i started playing fallout and turn base was slightly better then commandos plau i liked being able to lvl up instead of starting a mission out as the same lvl i stil like the commando graphics better i can rember crawling around the trainns and shanking people now that was some fun with a weapon you had to be sneaky fallout was more just head on combat but it had more options that made it nice... we'll talk about tactic another day i was going to get into that 2 but man ...................................
http://www.nma-fallout.com/tactics/items/ does this look like a firmilar page you can take a look at the ripper right here complements of nWo 8)

Fallout 1: Fists of Fury!

Fallout 2: Fists and Feet of Fury!

Ninja chop hoi! Honestly, why bother learning wasteland hunter's safety when you can just beat up everything? Bopping those beyotches down with their bare hands gave my characters the satisfaction they never had as a child...
