So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
I want to join a new story, but I am quite new here. Just wondering which story should I rp in, oh so many?
 
I suggest you read(part of) the IC threads(to get a feel for both), and then decide if you want to join either. If you don't, you can always start your own one. ;)
 
Well, I think if you want to get into a new story, do Kilrick. Kilrick also works if you want heavy power, lots of violence, dirty meanness and don't have the time for good long drafted posts that have few grammar mistakes.

If you want to practice creative writing, can commit to it, than try lone wanderers.

But if so then reread the old ICC posts before joining.

Also try to make a character on the character thread.
 
Kilrick, having just started, is a good place to wet your feet in the Roleplaying Board. I, myself, can't really write (well) in the first person, nor can I write short and simple replies without turning them into seven pages so I've opted out on that particular RP. But the short replies guarentee alot of moving forward, action.

Lone Wanderers, on the other hand, requires commitment and understanding of the setting. There'll be people (like Welsh, RogueHex, Reaper, Jacin, Sander, myself, and the other regulars) who'll give you a lending hand.

Either way, you'll be welcomed to join whatever RPG you choose. People will help you. Excellent writing skills aren't mandatory but reading and listening to others will help you in the long run.

Looks like you've got an influx of people from Vault0 and mushroom-cloud. :) I'd like to join Lone Wanderer's, but I've already mentioned that in the OOC thread.

Yes we could use new folks. I will hold for some of the others to make suggestions.

The best advice would probably be as posted above.

KIlrick is very new and is not that much reading.

Lone Wanderers is much more involved and the old chapters can be found on the archived boards. But yes we invite all.

And welcome to the board and thanks for coming.
 
Mmmyeees, it is good to see more avid rpg'ers, especially seeing as atleast one of you seems to not be a newb to rpg, but I am sure Zoe most likely is not a newb to it either, but even if you are, if you never ever try it, you will never ever like it? Right?
