This is a thread to try to gather some people to play multiplayer and/or co-op games together.
Just put any game you have or are interested in gathering some people to play with and see if anyone else is interested too.

I'll list my avaleible games-with-online-components list:

- Starbound/Starbound Modded:
I love this game so damn much, and it actually has good Steam integration and mod support (Workshop). And it actually has a pretty interesting Lore and main quest, which can be ignored completely of course.

- Terraria/Terraria Modded:
See above for the most part; I do like it less for the most part, mods are less stable and balanced, and multiplayer net code is more trouble than it's worth (see: explosions and other taxing situations causing serious slowdowns and crashes, and several other annoyances). Then again, several people in a dedicated server with Expert mode on can lend to a quite awesome experience, MMO-y in a way, but with an actual end to it all.

- Don't Starve Together:
Another common have. Sometimes punishing to the point of bullshit, but with a lot of things to see and do. A Survival gamem, after all.

- Souls (any):
A matter of two and three at most. With some communication and know how of the mechanic, consistent coop play is quite reliable. A good experience nonetheless, especially if you, eh, like who you are playing with?

- Borderlands, RAGE:
While not a favourite of this place, it can be quite great; after silencing NPC voices of course. BL1>BLTPS>BL2=RAGE, for when it comes to what the most of us would enjoy in my eyes. Notice "Falloutyness" as a factor.

- Left 4 Dead 2:
Who does NOT have this game? Pretty good pick up-and-play, four players tops (eight in Monster vs Players mode actually), rewarding to coordinate with the others, and near endless campaigns to play due to addons.

- Magicite/Roguelands:
Roguelike. If you're still with me, I must say that the first is better than the latter unless you prefer a more grindy game (due to player level ups, gear, upgrades, insane endgame levels, repeated levels). The first then, is pretty basic but it's a good fun sitting if it behaves. Works pirated if anything.

- Dead Island:
Gotta make the money back ;). Coop does seem quite fun, though.

- Nuclear Throne Together:
A mod makes the splitscreen coop playable through online by modder magic. A thing of pairs.

- Civ V/Stellaris/Grand Strategy:
A thing that needs quite the arranging and some compromise. Civ V is due in around four sessions, maybe, but some 4X take forever! Civ V sounds cool, better if we have the DLC (they are all bundled for 3$ in some sales, the Christmas one for sure). There are mods too but there's vanilla content to spare.

- DotA/LoL:
-I guess... -ugh- forget it.

- Garry's Mod:
Eh, for giggles.

- New Vegas MP mod:
Just something to keep an eye on. Apparently a representative passes by NMA if they have something to sink our teeth in, so there's that.

Rage huh? I should get the multiplayer parts done some time. Not the best game but good enough.

Also I guess I could suggest WoW or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, but that ain't our cup of tea, is it not?

I've played wow more than you should. Started 2006 and quit 2014 i think? Had some breaks tho. PlayerUnknown is in my library but i get bored of thos games quite fast. Thankfully i got it for free so i could join a streaner as he wanted proffesional backup!.. Sadly for him he got me >:D
 
Also, why not play a multiplayer in already familiar RPGs? There are some interesting titles
-Neverwinter Nights & NWN2
-Arcanum co-op (why not?)
-VtM: Redemption (this one appeared earlier than NWN but does the same thing, and I'll take every opportunity to play a non-D&D-based game if there's one)
 
Anyway up for QuakeWorld or Quake II? UT99/2k4 would also be great. Also, Doom and Heretic.

This is some sort of open source remake that's apparently free to play, and the game is fun as hell.

Or Killing Floor 1(Still haven't got 2 yet)/Don't Starve Together/Company of Heroes 1&2/R.U.S.E./Magicka 1&2/Men of War : Assault Squad 1&2/Painkiller/Star War : Battlefront II/Torchlight 1&2/Dawn of War/World in Conflict.
 
WTF... This forum formatting options sometimes suck.
I spent so much time formatting the fist post to include the games and players and then I posted it and was all messed up, then I edited it and tried removing all the formatting (using the remove formatting button), nothing happened, I tried to reset the Alignment to left side as it is the default, and it did nothing...
I wish I could access the HTML writing mode so I could edit it in the code instead of relying on buttons that sometimes break and mess everything up :violent:.

Still, hmm... There's gonna be a 1000 line long list with only one or three names in each. Wondering how can this better be put to practice...

Age of Empire 1&2, Worms Armaggeddon, Civilization games, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Disciples 2, Fallout Tactics, Unreal Tournament series, Counter Strike series, Broforce.
 
Unreal Tournament 3 is extra good for massive online session with it's Warfare game mode.

I knew The Order had one thread.

Serious question, is Minecraft worth playing at all right now?
